If you haven’t received your Christmas bonus yet, you probably will in the next weeks. You’ll probably be getting anywhere from P50,000 to P100,000. How are you going to spend it? Do you have a good tip on where to put that kind of money?
We gotta plan, or else even P100,000 can vanish without a trace.

What is your suggestion? You seem to post a blog without solutions anyways

Hi all,
You may want to take advantage of the Santa Claus rally happening this week. Fund managers artificially move up their stock price thru augmented but temporary wave of buying in the last remaining days of the year.
This is good oppty for individual stock investors like us to make some decent returns or move back to the safety of cash while waiting for the US economy to get back on track.

I am definitely going to invest my bonus in stocks. Now is actually a good time to buy (esp after the Manila Pen incident) but the money is not coming in till Dec 15. After doing extensive research, am confident that the stock market will hit at least 4,200 by June ‘08. With interest rates so low, saan pa? Pinas is ok naman in general. Di ba they say that the stock market is the barometer of the economy?
Check this out, I myself recently heard about the Phil Stock Index Fund, a fund that merely mirrors the PHil Stock Exchange index so no more worries/risks if the fund manager is good or bad. It’s affordable also, I think only P50K entry. This is being sold by BPI.

I just got part of my bonus (whoopee!). I was supposed to use it to cut my credit card debt by half, even if the due date for my minimum balance isn’t until the 14th of dec pa.. But after the stand-off earlier, I think it would be wise for me to stay liquid until I really have to pay.
