If you haven’t received your Christmas bonus yet, you probably will in the next weeks. You’ll probably be getting anywhere from P50,000 to P100,000. How are you going to spend it? Do you have a good tip on where to put that kind of money?
We gotta plan, or else even P100,000 can vanish without a trace.

This blog is nifty
forwarded it even to some people I know who are impulse spenders..
I like tip #1 and #10 the most.
#1 to handle all the uncessary expenses, and #10 to counterbalance being too scroogey. We can save and save and invest but what good is it if we don’t enjoy the fruits of our labor, yah?:)
Also, another thought regarding credit cards - if you get one and don’t use it, it’s also not good since you basically pay at least a year or two of its annual fees - let’s say 1200 a year. That’s 100 a month, so if you’ll just get one for the sake of having one rather than for the sake of convenience (of not bringing cash), then best not to. Kumita na yung credit card company sayo and you weren’t even able to make the most out of your credit line! The caveat with this is that you have to be conscious pa din of your spending and to be aware of what you can or cannot afford - everything has to be zeroed out at eom.

@jagito, it all depends on where you are in your saving. The key is balance. Balance between now and the future. Look at the overall picture
