Where to put your Christmas bonus?

If you haven’t received your Christmas bonus yet, you probably will in the next weeks. You’ll probably be getting anywhere from P50,000 to P100,000. How are you going to spend it? Do you have a good tip on where to put that kind of money?

We gotta plan, or else even P100,000 can vanish without a trace.

    sheng,

    “I did an excel simulation of my credit card debt which i constantly update to ensure that I am well within my schedule. Also, it helps me to focus. My mantra is to begin with the end in mind.”

    That sounds very meticulous and very admirable! you could share your worksheets here so others can also improve their finances! I think its also good to enjoy some of your christmas money, so that you can enjoy the season.

    isabel, thanks for dropping and finally coming out of lurker mode! good job on your budgeting. credit card debt is the worst and its good you’re taking better care of your loan status. sabi nga ni Mon Solo, it does not make sense to save when you have credit card debt…

    @ron, i suspect you’re either a freelancer, a businessman or both. If you’re a businessman, its tougher. YOU have to pay 13th month hehe. Tama si mau, be grateful na lang.

    @don s, i try not to look at the tax portion. so painful hehe.

    @salina, great tips!

    @paetechie, that probably took a lot of discipline. nothing even for a quiet christmas dinner?? :)
