Want is a two edged sword; it is something we admire and abhor at the same time.

In Roman times, the “wants” of the emperors, from Augustus to Nero, created marvels of engineering that we use up to now. However, these “wants” also generated massive bloodshed and slavery.

Going back to GRS’s quote..
Want, is not a path to the dark side.. but uncontrollable want is..

I think neither of the two is the problem but rather the inability of people to to want something and satisfy this wants thru means that are based on prudent financial judgement.

Sometimes, it takes a lot of courage to resist wants. During the past months, I was successful not to give in until…. Last week, I went to the mall to buy a birthday gift for my colleague. I was not able to buy a gift but I ended up buying something for myself!

nice quotes ^^

I like GRSC’s quote better because it connotes balance and sometimes really, it is healthy to give in to our wants.
