Royal instant noodles

I ATE a lot of these instant noodles when I was a kid :) along with Royco. I actually preferred Royco, but I can't seem to find the old Royco commercials. Maybe one of you has a copy? Here's a Royal instant noodles commercial I remember quite well. Clip courtesy of flagwavercharacter.

Wow cool stuff!

Would you happen to have the Goya Fun Factory commercial?

Hi VJ, thanks for visiting.

Haven't found a copy of the Goya Fun Factory commercial yet, but yes I'd love to see that again :) Anyone out there have it?

Oh, and I'd love to see a photo of Choco-Vim heh :) I loved that drink!

Hey Joey! Since we're on the topic of food that we loved in the 80s, I can't seem to remember the name of that candy that came in a coffin-shaped dispenser! The candies tasted like tarts & tiny's and look like little pastel-colored bats, skeletons and ghosts. Does anyone else remember that candy? I loved Royco too btw -- their Alphabet Soup was the best!

Hi borabum, thanks for visiting! Dang, I think I know w/c candy you're talking about but dang, right now I don't know what it's called :) Hope somebody solves the mystery for us heh

Yes, Royco Alphabet Soup was my favorite, too!

Wish I could share some clips of the foods we had as kids but I have only some vague memories. As kids our peers actually enjoyed candies in the shape of skeletons and ghosts!?? I guess maybe that's why our generation is fearless in so many ways. I think we still have the concept of the Alphabet Soup alive but it's just that the kids don't get to eat anything. There are a lot of comparisons between the foods we had as kids and the foods which our kids are having now but it'll be good if some of the foods we enjoyed as kids were revived and re-introduced so that old timers may enjoy the child in them.
