VOLTES V and the other super robots over at Channel 7 might have been more popular, but Channel 9 also had its own armada of armored heroes. One of these robots was Balatack (or Balatak). Remember him? And do you remember exactly on which days Channel 9's robots appeared? Like on which day did they show Dangard Ace?

wow this is so cool! i loved balatack as a kid. it just seemed so fun and free of drama as opposed to the other robot shows. if i remember correctly, channel 9's lineup was: mon: star blazers, tue:balatack, wed: voltron(? -this is a wild guess--somehow i can't remember wednesday..), thurs:danguard ace, fri: star rangers....tama ba? or sat ang star rangers. ano nga ba? :-)
I wasn't a fan of the Channel 9 robot shows (loyalista ako sa Voltes V at Daimos, hehehe) but I was a fan of Star Rangers (aka Go Renjaa; ngayon ko na lang nalaman, being in Japan, kung anu yung "curry rice" na favorite ni Yellow 3) that's why I remember that it used to air on Saturdays on KBS Channel 9. imposible na Friday yun, otherwise that would've meant I had to miss watching VV. and that time was to early for Voltron. that American-dubbed series debuted maaaaany years after, in the 90s on IBC Channel 13.
From where do Inquirer collect all these informations? I mean Balatack is an old show and I don't even remember when it used to get aired but as a kid I've have enjoyed a lot and used to watch with so much tension. Thanks Inquirer for refreshing my memory.
