Let there be a Pacquiao-Custodio debate

03/18/07

Posted under Darlene Custodio, Feedback, Manny Pacquiao

I WOULD like to propose a debate between Representative Darlene Antonino-Custodio and Manny Pacquiao on all issues: ranging from the economy to issues regarding overseas Filipino workers, etc.

And then they could talk to the people of General Santos City about their own platforms.

To run for office without direction “ay parang manok na pinugutan ng ulo (is like being a decapitated chicken).”

Politics is very different from Boxing where Manny is a hero. Our Congress and Senate have become the arena of clowns who do nothing but contribute to the downfall of our country. For Godsake Manny, for the good of the country and for the good of the future generations, it would be better if you just stay in your career as a boxer and do not allow anybody to use you for their own interest. Wake up Manny. There still time!

Why the heck is this fool running for congress while he couldn’t even understand all those boxing contracts he signed? He’s twisted lawyer explained it and still don’t get it, so the lawyer says “just signed it”.

Pacman would be in the world of sh….
if he gets elected. Its like walking in a cockpit of an Airbus and the fool couldn’t even find where the landing gear is. People he trusted during election will eat him alive from inside out. The infamous word “kurakot ng mga assistant”.

I have nothing against movie/sports star running for a government position. We must treat them as separate individuals, like lawyers, political scientists, religious, businessmen, etc.

For the case of pacquaio, I do not like to see him in any political position, not because he is a boxer nor magsasabong nor movie star. It is simply because I cannot imagine him making laws or ordinances. Please pacquaio, politics is a different arena. It is not for you.
