Aquino’s street-corner language

03/26/07

Posted under Benigno Aquino III, Genuine Opposition, Senatorial Bets

AND I thought only Joseph Estrada could use such kanto [street-corner] language as “Pupulutin ka lang sa kangkungan.” ["They'll pick you up in the swamp."]

Noynoy Aquino’s remark shows that the level of maturity of the candidates has not progressed, how Noynoy Aquino has degenerated into a mudslinging politician, wholeheartedly embraced Estrada’s ideals and thoughts, and has given an indication of where the Philippines will surely be once he is elected into office.

Kawawa naman si Ninoy.” [Poor Ninoy Aquino.]

How could I vote for an Aquino? Let me count the ways:

1. Where was Noynoy when we booted Estrada out?

2. Please answer question no. 1.

Obviously, the comments were those of people who did not like Noynoy. But sorry. He won. Meaning, the majority still believe in him and in his family. Knowing his family is already an edge. So I know I did the right thing when I voted for him.

Kesa naman sa ibang kandidato na malabo ang background. Why take the chance.

I admired Ninoy’s courage and valued his ultimate sacrifice for the nation, his life, he is a great Filipino. And so Madame Aquino, who remained untarnished up to this day, but in sudden turn of history, I dont understand how the Aquino family is supporting ERAP, a man of immorality, a disgrace to the country. Did the Aquino’s forget how ERAP supported the Marcos dictatorship and he covered Imelda from the sun’s heatduring their heyday? POOR NINOY!!

Noynoy will be a good leader! i believe in that…and i voted for him.

i understand that he has to maximize his resources to let himself be known to our country becuase he is not a celebrity but it does not mean that he can not stand on his own.

let’s see him perform in the senate!

    God bless you noynoy.
