A FIREFIGHT broke out in the compound of Jesus Is Lord leader Eddie Villanueva, whose son Eduaro “Jon-Jon” Villanueva Jr. is running for mayor of Bocaue, Bulacan.
Here’s an excerpt from the Breaking News story of INQUIRER.net reporter Thea Alberto:
Villanueva said he suspected military men to be behind the attack, but Chief Superintendent Ismael Rafanan, Central Luzon police director, said that still had be to be determined by an investigation.
“That’s what they [Villanueva] claim..but we are still conducting investigations to precisely point what really happened..and who started the firefight,” said Rafanan in a phone interview.
Rafanan also said that what transpired was not an attack.
“It was not an attack. There was a misunderstanding sa grupo nila dahil yata sa pagdidikit ng mga posters [There was a misunderstanding in their group over the posting of campaign posters] ,” said Rafanan.

Religion mixed with Politics?
Politics - the art or science concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy.
So, tonio be the judge, What’s wrong with religion mixed with politics?
Politics became dirty because of those politicasters,(people with greed of power and money) and those are the people that Villanueva is trying to cast out of Philippine government by leading a righteous one. This could not be done overnight or by a single man alone. So this comming 2010 elections be wise, lets start with ourselves. Because we are the change that we want to see…Ikaw, Ako, Tayo…..Tayo ang Pagbabago.

hammieka:
Mr. Villanueva is fully aware that he battles against principalities and not against human flesh. Hate has its place in religion. Hate the sin but not the sinner. he is a servant of God. Naisip mo ba pano kaya magpasweldo ang Diyos? Tingin ko hindi maliit ang kita. He is running for presidency to lead a national transformation and not for money.

That’s what’s been happening in our political system, they are erradicating the law of God from the Law of man and look at where we are now? Have you ever imagined what would happen if we apply all the laws of God in all the laws of man? When the wicked rule, the people mourn. But when the righteous rules, the people rejoice.

marius: Is separation of church and state your reason not voting Bro. Eddie? It is clearly stated in the bible and did you even try to know what was Bro. Eddie’s stand on it? He is preaching the bible and he is practicing what he is preaching. If he runs again this 2010 election please listen to him so you’ll hear it from the horse’s mouth.
October 10th, 2008 at 4:47 am
RCA: If you wanna know why Bro. Eddie was called an annointed one, maybe you should do some reading/research so you’ll know the person. You already judged him, even called him a false prophet. A lot of people already warned you on cursing a servant of God. And where did you get the idea that being a president is his ultimate dream? sa barbero? sa driver ng padyak sa kanto? I don’t really wanna know, Its just sad because he is fighting for these people and yet they are the ones whose there ready to judge and curse him. Without even giving a chance of knowing him and his intentions.
October 10th, 2008 at 4:26 am
giftedchild56: Don’t be confused or disapointed, we were given a lifetime opportunity to elect a righteous leader. But who did you vote? or did you even vote at all? I don’t really wana know, just ponder on those questions.
Just remember that Mr. Villanueva has COURAGE, COMPETENCE, CHARACTER, COMPASSION FOR THE POOR, PRINCIPLE AND PASSION FOR GOD & COUNTRY.
= Let’s practice what we Preach =

noel faryan: again?
JIL pips have their own mind, and saying that nauuto sila is a way of cursing them(JIL) and be carefull for if you curse God’s people, you’ll be cursed by God since they have God’s protection.
October 10th, 2008 at 4:06 am
noel faryan:
Have you had given Mr. Villanueva a consideration at all? I don’t thinnk so. Because if you did, you’ll know that he had no political ambition at all, but after the prayer and a long process of convincing him to run done by groups of filipinos whose been crying for change, he decided to take on the challenge. Please lets not waste such opportunities, hopefully he runs again for 2010 elections and if he does please do give him a chance, just at least compare him with other candidates and you’ll see the difference.
== Villanueva - Panlilio == perfect combinatin for 2010
October 10th, 2008 at 3:54 am
kakosa: how about your leader? Who is your leader? have you asked yourself? Have you looked at your leader? or do you have a leader at all? We had a chance to vote a righteous leader who is willing to take on politics not for money but for his conviction to lead the morally bankrupt government to a transformation.
Lets not throw that opportunity this comming 2010 elections.
== Villanueva - Panlilio ==

Isa syang religious leader.

Religion and politics is about money !!1
Do I need to say more !!1 Just look at your leaders it is their bread and butter!!!!
It is their livelihood !!!

the villanuevas thinks that just becuase a lot of people joined them at JIL, people will also join them in their political ambitions.. but they were awfully mistaken.
August 24th, 2007 at 11:19 pm
the VILLANUEVAS simply used the JIL
as their road to their political ambitions.
they are very good in talking. they have the money from JIL kaya malalakas talaga ag loob and the problem is, medyo marami na ding pinoy and nauuto..

im a little bit confused or can i just say disappointed because i cant believe that last presidential election, mr. eddie villanueva decided to run for presidency. if he is really concerned to us filipinos, he must then focus on what “mission that God wants for him to do and that is to spread God’s word to all of us. mr. villanueva, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that God gave you to preach His Gospel and you must be proud of it! and at the same time, by this “mission, you can help us! and then let the people know by themselves and realize that it is a big help for everyone having a pastor like you sharing them how God loves us and leading US to the truth. THERE IS NO POLITICIAN CAN DO THAT “MISSION!!! and also please do not endorse political candidates in front of many attendees, for they can lead to confusion that JIL is entering politics. what if you endorse one candidate and loses (like JDV, some senatorial candidates)? Your credibility as a pastor and the JIL’s reputation also loses and people will think you are a false leader! and to my observation, also by that endorsements you did, many attendees left JIL. let’s just pray to God to give us a leader who has fear in Him and can handle our nation truthfully.
P.S. i am an attendee of JIL church but it doesnt mean that i am supporting what pastors endorsed. for i believe that only GOD has the power to put a man to be a leader (1 & 2 samuel_old testament). IM NOT AGAINST BRO. EDDIE, he is a good man and God-fearing. but please, let us leave politics, the best thing we can do is…pray to GOD for those political leaders in power.

Mga kaibigan the best thing that we can do is to pray for the peace of our NATION! lahat tayo ay mahal ng Dios.

40% X 1T = 400 BILLION, Saan ito napunta? kina Kapitan, kina Mayor, Kina Governor, kina Congressman, kina Director , kina Buiseness man, etc.
THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER UNTILL THE NEXT GENERATIONS WILL GAIN THE WEALTH INTENDED FOR THEM.
“ANO ANG MAPAPALA NG ISANG TAO, MAKAMTAN MAN NIYA ANG KAYAMANAN SA BUONG MUNDO, KUNG ANG KAISA-ISAHAN NIYANG KALULUWA AY SUSUSNUGIN NAMAN SA IMPYERNO”
STOP GRAFT AND CORRUPTION !!!

Yes indeed, Bro. Eddie is a good man. Today, thru his love in God and in his country continue to FIGHT for righteusness. HE FIGHT FOR YOU BROTHERS, MY FELLOW PILIPINO. Tell me if He has more wives,Tell me if he has unfaithful wife, tell me if there is no threat for his life! tell me if he has helicopter and luxurious cars, or even mansions. Tell me if he has “hello Garci” scandal. Tell me if he has injustices. Tell me if He spend a lot of money for his own pleasure.Tell me if he leads his flock for evil and not for good. Tell me if he has a lot of friends to engage with “NEPOTISM”, tell me if he is not GOD’S SERVANT. HE FIGHTS FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, HE FIGHTS FOR OUR ONE TRUE GOD AND HE FIGHTS FOR THE FILIPINO PEOPLE.
I HATE SIN AS I HATE SATAN. and I COULD FIGHT FOR RIGHTEOUS NESS TOO!
May the Lord bless the Philippines as well as the Filipino people. AMEN.

It’s so easy to judge other people principle even without knowing the person. Bro. Eddie is a good man, a true leaders to his flocks, a true servant of GOD and have a deep conern with the Filipinos and his country. You can curse him if you want but i’ll tell you this… you have to accept whatever the consequences cursing the true servant of GOD… Don’t blame me that we did’nt warn you … Curse him and wait for the result in your life…

May 31st, 2007 at 11:14 am
Rommel, There is a clear line between church and state, even the bible states that. The mere act of Villanueva appearing before the nation, joining political rallies, etc is enough proof plus his bid for presidency. He is already powerful, he can change peoples hearts through religion by telling your group to analyse the current situation. Wag magpagamit sa Opposition and their hatred campaign. O baka binabayaran na yang grupo niyo to endorse against the government.
May 29th, 2007 at 9:20 pm
To those who will take curse of Bro.Eddie, BEWARE… He is still a Lord’s servant, the Bible says “…do not touch my annointed one…” say’s the LORD.” BEWARE if you do not want something be happened to you. MIKE ARROYO already recieved a DISCIPLINE from God, oh! what a heart SURGERY! DID YOU Want something for you? then, continue your evil thoughts of Bro.Eddie, Wait for God’s turn for you! “May the Lord bless those who bless Bro.Eddie and curse those who curse Bro.Eddie”. Amen
May 21st, 2007 at 9:20 am
Shame on you Eddie. It was state in the bible the separation of law of Man from the law of God. why are you keep trying to mix the two? Why are you using your followers for your own Political Dream..
May 18th, 2007 at 12:28 pm
Hate has no place in religion.

Gen George Patton once said, “Leadership is the thing that wins battles.
Our nation lies in a state of hopelessness and desperation, precisely due to so many “none leaders in government. Our nation hungers for heroes, for better leaders, and part of the problem is that most of the few good men left in the country have abdicated the selection of leaders, and governance as a whole, to the current crop of corrupt, incompetent, and self-serving traditional politicians we have today.
ALL leaders, whether in government, business, religion, or the rest of civil-society, have as part of their responsibility to use their authority and influence, in a manner that serves the interest of the greater good. Striving to replace government with better leaders is for the greater good.
I am a born again Christian, but not part of Brother Eddie’s JESUS IS LORD movement. I may not agree with all the candidates his group endorsed, but I completely agree with his criteria for selection of leaders: LEADERS OF COURAGE, COMPETENCE, CHARACTER, COMPASSION FOR THE POOR, PRINCIPLE AND PASSION FOR GOD & COUNTRY.
If you do not agree with this criteria, or if based on your assessment, you do not agree with those in his “list that do not pass the criteria, THEN by all means do not VOTE for them.
But let us not malign a good person, a man of God at that, for trying to do his share in providing guidance and installing more righteous leaders in government.
Edmund Burke’s famous lines fits this situation perfectly. “All it takes for evil to succeed, is for good men to do nothing.
We must ask ourselves, “what have we done to block evil or promote good lately? What courage have I shown? How have I used my competence for others? How passionate am I for God, and family and country?
I believe Bro.Eddie is sincere in trying to guide his flock - and those who respect him- to improve this flawed government, by installing better leaders.. I congratulate him for speaking out as a “voice in the wilderness despite the risk of such vile comments and rejection. I pray God’s favor be upon him and his kind, that God’s will for our nation be done through Bro.Eddie and his followers, for His glory and honor.
Sincerely,
Joseph N. Pangilinan

Hey Magdi! How did you say that the Jil tribe has always been seen with luxuriuos car loaded with firearms?unless you been on the tribe and experienced to be one of them.
May 11th, 2007 at 1:18 pm
i just want to comment on tirso. i think it is not fair to judge those in the JIL are part of the devil’s deception. masyadong below the belt naman yun banat mo. i’m not a JIL member pero nakakapangilabot yun post mo.may korte naman tayo that would determine sino talaga may kasalanan. ur just too quick to castigate and curse the JIL, kasi alam mong di ka nila babalikan. and please sana tagalugin mo na lang next time para mas maintindihan namin ibig mo sabihin.

Bro. Eddie is suppose to be preaching about love, unity and compassion to many Filipino Christian, but it seems that the moral standard within his home is not inline with what he preached. He preach that it is the devil that create murders and chaos, is his son a part of the devil’s league? To our beloved Christian in JIL, please read your Bible and discern the current situation at JIL before you loose you hope in GOD because of Bro. Eddie’s action. Wake up , it’s time to move. God is GOD of Love and Compassion. If your leader is not practicing the same compassion and love the GOD wants, you have to get out from there or else you will be like them. Don’t let Bro. Eddie or whoever profess to be the servant of GOD buy participate in sins, lies and deception are NOT TRUE servant of GOD. As Apostel Paul say, go away from those the profess and but not do the will of GOD. The longer you partipate and support this Chrisitan leader , the more you become part of the devils Deception.
May 8th, 2007 at 5:48 pm
JIL leaderships have gone beyond the call of preaching word of GOD.Bro. Eddie is full of hatred of the current administration and everything that happens to the country points at the current administration. I’m wondering what Kind of Teachning the Bro. EDDIE is giving his flocks???? I guess for the sake of the gospel Bro. Eddie should be totally out of POLITICS or either. I’m not sure whether he realissed his ACTS tarnish the CHRISTIANITY and maybe Crucifying The LORD agian as he preached one time and do the reverse.
Hope that He dont follow Prophet Samuel path by not restraining his sons from committing sins. I beleived the Bro. Eddie knows the Bible Histroy very well.
PS. Apostle Paul commanded his follower to reject him if he is not following Christ thru his life testimony. I hope Bro, Eddie will live to the standard of the BIble, otherwise , if i’am one of his flock,I rather leave JIL and join those churches that preach and do what they preach.

just wish that these “leaders” are not too quick to point their fingers to whoever they hate and very glad to blame without waiting for any investigation. i won’t be surprised that their pointing finger directs to pgma. they do not notice their own finger pointing back to them. maybe they are just hated in their own area because they are trying to establish a “kingdom” in bocaue. they are quick to create a grim picture without due course.
