THE WIKIPEDIA entry of Genuine Opposition senatorial candidate Taguig-Pateros Representative Alan Peter Cayetano has apparently been defaced. A check on the History tab that shows all the changes that have been made to Cayetano’s Wikipedia entry shows that the defacing was made on May 16.
Under the “Education and other personal information” section, the user added this entry: Allan Peter Cayetano is also known as “Apeng Daldal”, “KSP Musmos” and “Walking Microphone.”
Under “Work Experience,” the user added: Stand up comedian at Laughline (1995-97).
Meanwhile, under “Voting record,” the user added the entry: Walang naisulat na batas. Busy sa papansin sa media. [Did not write any laws. Busy getting the media attention.]
The changes to these three sections were all made on May 16, using the same IP address.

What I’m saying is that since we have a very free media now unlike during the Marcos era, he could’ve just given the evidence to the media and leave it to them to investigate (we have the PCIJ). As Senators/Congressmen they should focus on the job they’re paid to do instead of simply grandstanding (which is a waste of time and taxpayer’s money). Disunity (which I believe resulted from the Marcos dictatorship) hampers the economic growth we all want. There maybe some truth to his accusation, but now at least the FG is cautious. But the fact remains that Alan underperformed in Congress and he ran under the GO slate. If he was truly anti-corrupt, then why didn’t he run as an Independent instead of being tainted with Erap’s corruption?

I would tend to agree with Kabayan on this. Don’t compare Ninoy with Alan. They are miles apart. Ninoy opposed the Marcos dictatorship definitely with a sense of FEAR, while Alan P. seems to oppose for its own sake. Filipinos tend to like the underdogs.

I am happy that the GO senatorial candidates won in this election. It only means that the country will not experience peace and stability and the economy will suffer. The peso will again depreciate and return to the rate of 56 pesos to a dollar. This will benefit the millions of OFWs and their dependents. I am looking forward to an impeachement filed against the President at the first day opening of Congress. Yehey!

the “changes” in the allan cayetano wikipedia record could have been done by his own relative who knew him just too well! the said changes are obvious truths as this cayetano, who i have heard must be a good lawyer, prefers to talk to the media for coverage rather than bring his “evidences” to the court if according to him his evidences are binding and will stand. as far as i am concerned and am sure others are too, if the good lawyer cayetano is “man enough” he should go direct to the courts and get these “hoodlums” as he dakdak to prison rather than acting like a dalahira and court jester, talking his way for the medias’ to see. i only see “truths” in his revised wikipedia records! and further he asks comelec to include all the cayetano and peter votes to his count. talagang gustong manalo ng dalahira… you remind me of another dalahira who attacked the VAT during the election campaign when he could have done so when the VAT issue was being discussed in the senate. ganyan ang mga dalahira!

Kabayan’s Message Quoted:
“You obviously have not experienced the travails, repression and suffering of the Filipino people during the reign of Marcos, or perhaps you were on the other side of the fence among the elite scions that benefited from the corruption and abuse of power of Marcos and Imelda.”

I know that Marcos is a dictator and I am not defending him here. If you want to read the Senate Journal during the time of Marcos (You can read it in 4th or 5th floor of the National Library), Ninoy are not doing anything but keep on attacking Marcos, same with Alan Peter. They are doing those things for their own interest. I am not saying that Marcos is good or Marcos did not robbed the people or Marcos did not kill many people. What I am saying here is that if you attack you should have pieces of evidence to prove your allegations or at least you should have done something for your constituents who voted you.
What did Alan peter did for the last 9 years? Renaming a school to his father? My God, is that what you called principled person? We are wasting our money for Mr. Cayetano when in fact he is not doing the job as provided by his job description as Congressman.
