Mon Tulfo and his idiotic message to Father Panlilio

I AM happy that the Inquirer keeps credible columnists like Randy David, Walden Bello, Solita Monsod, MLQ III and a lot more.

What I don’t understand is that amid the scholarly written articles, there comes Ramon Tulfo writing about the newly elected governor of Pampanga, Father Ed Panlilio, whom he thought was losing in a fair battle.

I’m really vexed at the thought that the Inquirer also keeps rotten tomatoes like Ramon Tulfo in their newspaper.

Quoting his post:

Priest-turned-politician Eddie Panlilio should shut up if he can’t prove his allegations that his closest rival, Board Member Lilia “Baby” Pineda, committed fraud in the Pampanga gubernatorial race.

As of this writing, Pineda had widened her lead over Panlilio, with the incumbent, Gov. Mark Lapid, coming in third. (Panlilio was proclaimed the winner last nightâ€â€ŔEditor)

Panlilio should stop being a crybaby and admit that he lost in a fair fight. He is barking up the wrong tree since Pineda is not the incumbent. I’m not saying Lapid cheated, but the sitting official usually has the capability to cheat because of power and machinery.

Now, who should shut up? Thank you for telling Father Panlilio to stop being a crybaby, because as of the moment, all his tears are of joy! And who are you to say that Baby Pineda has no capacity to cheat? Come on, I am from Pampanga and I really don’t know if you live here. Mr. Tulfo, I think you’re the one barking at the wrong tree; anyway, dogs really do that sometimes. The next time you write about the results of elections, see to it that you have correctly seen the COCs. What gave you the idea that Baby Pineda won? Strange, really strange. I will just wait for the apology that you will address to Father Ed. Learn your lesson. Thank you.

I think the Comelec should check the result of Lanao del Norte. Imagine the husband runs for a congressman and the son runs for governor and the mother runs for congress in the first disctrict. If the 3 of them will be elected, lanao del norte will be at there hands. And try to check the property of the family, they are getting more richer. THere is a rampant cheating in SND one of the town in lanao del norte. and even 5 year old as long as you know how to write can vote. They have 16,000 voters but its just a small town.

Tulfo? He is disgrace to the industry.
He should be sacked or sued until his last drop of penny.
Just wondering why the industry he belong still keeps him.

When a regular joe commits slander, he loses his credibility. But when a JOURNALIST (a.k.a. master of the written word) does this mistake, he loses practically everything :P

I would bet on it that Father Panlilio is sincere in serving the Pampangueños. Let’s just wish he doesn’t fall into the trap of Philippine politics…and he doesn’t get rotten like most of them.

Let’s just give him a few years…and then we can have the right to judge him.

    =)

Let me just summarize the damages brought by the Marcos regime in our country of which I discussed extensively in my previous post in ‘Make Your Voice Heard’
    1. Disunity because now we are free to voice our opI share the joy of majority of the Kapampangans for finally having a moral leader who hopefully will remain faithful.
To wastedbrain - you cannot invoke the separation of church and state on moral issues.
I hope this will catallyze the true cleansing of the government, for I cannot blame GMA for being trapped in the political tradition of corruption, for this is what I keep on posting on the various websites of Inquirer:
    TO ALL (Young or Old)
Let me just summarize the damages brought by the Marcos regime in our country of which I discussed extensively in my previous post in ‘Make Your Voice Heard’
    1. Disunity because now we are free to voice our opinions unlike during the Marcos era
    2. Constitutional amendments done during the Aquino regime which gave rise to incompetent leaders
These hamper the economic growth of the country. Just allow the President to continue her term and let our economy improve for I believe she is capable of handling it. If we can rise out of poverty, then we can be well educated.
You may consider this post too late but my sole purpose is for the maturity of our voters so that come election time these points are considered in truly making wise judgments in the next election.
If you want GMA to step down because she cheated, then all politicians (except for a few good men of course) should step down because all cheated the country in one way or another with their empty promises.

Mon Tulfo is not only disappointed that Pineda lost in Pampanga. He was also frustrated that in their second bout, Grace Padaca won over Dy in Cagayan where jueteng is also rampant. Another source of income quelled for Tulfo. As early as Wednesday, Tulfo dismissed Padaca as a goner accusing her of being ineffectual as a governor, hence, her defeat. But the final count proved Tulfo wrong. Padaca KO’d a jaggernaut in Cagayan the second time around. Media has been accused of trending precisely because of mediocre media personalities like Mon Tulfo, who without basis, make predictions just so his personal choice will emerge as victor. Move over, Mr. Tulfo. Now that your “central asucarera de mama” in Pampanga and “papa” in Cagayan are defeated, it might be wise to change career. Have you ever tried to do a Madam Auring? - predicting the future of politicians?
