TRILLANES would not even win as barangay chairman before Oakwood.
Yes, the Philippine electorate rewarded Lt. Senior Grade Antonio Trillanes IV for causing untold suffering to the people by bringing down the economy and wreaking havoc on the business community in co-masterminding the infamous Oakwood mutiny.
He used this popularity to shortcut his way to the political arena. Why can’t he do a Lacson and a Biazon who took the long road and got out of service and ran for public office on the merits of their accomplishments? Is he too ambitious and could not wait for his turn? Let’s see if he will turn out to be like the gentlemen I mentioned or will he be like Gringo who was rewarded again after warming his seat in a forgettable stint in the Senate.

3 senators rapped for dealing with GMA supporters

THE gap between stalwarts of the Genuine Opposition and three of its senators who won in the last election has widened, with San Juan City Mayor Joseph Victor Ejercito warning them against joining the administration and betraying the people who voted for them.
“These senators have responsibility to the people who voted for them. Betraying the people’s trust has its own price,� Ejercito told a forum at Club Filipino in Greenhills.
Ejercito was referring to Senate President Manuel Villar Jr., Senator Francis Escudero, Senator Alan Cayetano, who all ran under the GO ticket but allegedly jumped ship.
Ejercito reminded the senators about their role as fiscalizers and not lapdogs. It is important for the senators to remember that they serve the people who voted for them and believed in them to be the fiscalizer against government corruption.
Senator Panfilo Lacson said that Villar, Escudero and Cayetano have effectively “abandoned� their colleagues in the minority and are now considered administration allies, forming part of the majority bloc in the Senate.

It was just as good with or without pro administration senators not winning enough votes to be in the magic 12…..ITS JUST FINE….NO GRUDGE.
Oppositions divided—divisions is now pretty obvious. Why? it is due to the so called self vested interest that makes a person turn one’s coat (balimbing). Where is that word of promise? NO ONE IS TO LEAVE (kono) BUT TO LEAVE AFTER ALL. It is fine by me seeing some of the opposition senators joining the senate coalition dominated by the administration senators.Hopefully this will not anger the loyal supporters of the opposition looking up to them with high regard. And by the way, dont accused Gloria the illegitimate president (KONO) to have a hand on this because even ERAP son Jinggoy is one among them to favor Villar.
