Mar Roxas and Liberal Party

Posted under Mar Roxas, Videos

HERE are two video clips INQUIRER.net reporter Veronica Uy took during the oath taking of Senator Manuel Roxas II as Liberal Party president at Club Filipino in Greenhills, San Juan City on Nov. 26.

Here’s a video of the actual oath taking.

And here’s Mar talking about the LP’s platform of government.

Is this a prelude to 2010?

As of January 6, 2008, there is not a single presidential candidate for the 2010 presidential elections. I would rather listen to the presidential candidate, who has a platform and program for Philippine governance. Otherwise, it is just waste of our time listening to these moist-eyed presidential wannabes.

As 2010 approaches, Mar should revise his strategies if he wants to win the presidential election. The problem with him, people are not attracted to his opinions probably because he has presented himself as a weak and “gutless” senator during the time of the impeachment. People will always have this perception that Mar lacks the ability to make decisions. He just can’t connect with the people!
If Mar wants to win the election, he should get a VP who is more earthbound and decisive. The likes of a Noynoy Aquino, Ping Lacson, Grace Padaca, Jesse Robredo, or even Neric Acosta would cancel out Mar’s incapacity to connect to the people.
