FORMER president Joseph Estrada has refused to name a candidate for the 2010 presidential elections, but he’s all praises for Senate President Manuel Villar in this video taken by INQUIRER.net reporter Veronica Uy.
Pretty ironic if he does end up endorsing Villar, if you remember the dramatic role Villar played in the impeachment of Estrada in the House of Representatives when Villar was the Speaker 
At any rate, Erap is saying that his candidate for 2010 should be “pro-poor” and “anti-corruption,” according to this Breaking News article.

Estrada issued the statement in response to reporters’ questions on what his criteria was in choosing the standard bearer of the opposition.
But at the same time, Estrada refused to name his candidate, saying that all presidential aspirants of the opposition would go through a process of selection that would include a series of three surveys to determine winnability.
Earlier in the day in Dinalupihan, Estrada was reported as having hinted that he was going to endorse the candidacy of Senate President Manuel Villar, who was said to be eyeing the presidency.

Lalo pa itong mga anak ni Gloria Arroyo na si Mikey, representative ng Pampanga, at si Dato, representative ng Camarines Sur. Kasama nila ang kanilang tiyo na si Ignacio “Iggy†Arroyo, representative ng Negros Occidental.
Bakit ba gustong ipatanggal ng mag-anak na Arroyo si Jose de Venecia bilang speaker. Hindi dahil sa prinsipyo. Kundi dahil sa hindi niya nirendahan ang anak na si Joey de Venecia sa pagbulgar ng papel ng tatay niyang si Mike Arroyo sa kurakutan sa NBN/ZTE deal kung saan ang $129 million (dolyar ‘yan ha) na deal ay naging $329 million.
Hindi lang nadoble. Halos triple! Ang deal na ‘yan ay uutangin ng pamahalaang Pilipinas sa China. Ibig sabihin n’yan babayaran ng mamamayang Pilipino. At bakit naging triple? Dahil may mga gustong kumita?
Isiniwalat ni Joey de Venecia kung paano siya sinabihan ni Mike Arroyo ng “Back off!†para iurong ang proposal ng kanyang kumpanya na mas mababa at hindi kailangang umutang ang pamahalaan.
‘Yan ang tunay na dahilan ng mag-anak na Arroyo sa pagtanggal kay De Venecia bilang speaker. Ito namang mga sipsip sa kanila katulad ni Palawan Rep. Abraham Mitra at Negros Occidental Rep. Monico Puentevella, kung anu-ano pang rason ang sinasabi. Porke kailangan raw ng reporma. Sino ba ang kanilang ipapalit? Si Prospero Nograles, representative ng Davao na isa ring trapung-trapo. Anong reporma ang pinagsasabi nitong mga trapo?

Ito namang si JDV, maaawa ka sana sa ginagawa sa kanya ni Gloria pagkatapos ng kanilang matagal na partnership sa panloloko ng taumbayan lalo pa nang minadaling prinoklama, (madaling-araw ‘yun habang tulog pa ang sambayanang Pilipino) si Arroyo na nanalo noong 2004 na eleksyon kahit na maraming hindi magkatugma na election returns at certificate of canvass.
At ‘di ba nang kainitan ng “Hello Garci†scandal, sinuportahan ni JDV si Arroyo samantalang malaking kasalanan sa sambayanan ang mandaya sa eleksyon?
Ngunit nakakainis naman itong si De Venecia dahil para lang hindi siya mapatalsik bilang speaker, sinabihan niya si Joey na hindi sumipot sa Senate hearing ng NBN/ZTE noong Wednesday. Mas gusto niyang itago ang katotohanan sa sambayanang Pilipino para lamang mapanatili sa pwesto.
Sinasabi ng Malacañang na suportado raw ni GMA si JDV. Ngunit tuloy ang operasyon ng mag-anak na Arroyo laban kay JDV. Siyempre, kaipokritahan lang ang sinabi ni GMA sa kanya. Ano naman ang bago du’n?
Sana naman makabawi si JDV kung maninindigan siya at isisiwalat ang lahat ng baho ni GMA. Hindi ganyan ang nangyayari eh. Naninikluhod pa siya. Paano kasi, pare-parehong madumi.

Sus Ginoo talaga…..anti-corruption and pro poor daw ang gusto ni Erap? Tama yun isang nag comment na kabaligtaran yan ng pagkatao ni Erap. Ginamit niya ang mahihirap sa kanyang kandidatura? bibigyan mo ng isang salop na bigas, 3 de lata, 2 noodles, isang kilong asukal…yun…boboto na nila ang hinayupak na yan. 2 araw lang idudumi na lahat ang binigay na yan….6 na taon mambababae, maglalasing, magsusugal, mangungurakot para pambili ng mga mansion ng alaga niya, …..sus ano kaya ang takbo ng Pinas ngaun kung siya pa rin ang pang-gulo?
