Angel was right. And she should not be blamed for all the whatever misfortunes that Jennylyn is experiencing in her life. If Jennylyn is really a good and sellable actress, then any offer from any TV network will just knock at her door, just as what happened to Angel who is now with ABS-CBN. It just maybe that she couldn’t accept her “waning” career in showbiz, although GMA is trying to save her (being the product of their talent search Starstruck) by giving her a role in one of their new soap operas.
Just prove your worth Jennylyn, as Angel said, especially that you’re not that popular yet to the viewing public. If you have the guts, then show it, rather than put the blame on other people of the not-so-good-things happening to you. I wish you all the best in your showbiz career.

as to becky, she must realize fairness in handling talents, noting that whatever betterment she does in one, must not affect the other talents. that is why she is called talent manager. angel is not that popular as she would think so. good move for jennylyn, for afterall, when you got lots of talents. if you believe in yourself, go go go…. we will rally for you, because you’ve got the traits of a good actress

angel is an ingrata. she should have said the truth from the very first. she should say sorry to GMA-7, to jennylyn, and to the other “alagas” of her equally ingrata manager who used to work with her once faithful tv station. by making GMA-7 hostage with their greed, it’s only natural the other talents will be affected. ABS-CBN should be wary of this two. but then they are the big bully of the entertainment world. what will happen next they rightly deserve. come to think of it, GMA-7 make shows to entertain. ABS-CBN make shows to compete GMA-7 and try to bring down the competition. they pirate stars to stop the competitors momentum and yet leave out most of the pirated talents to rot.

Regarding Angel’s transfer to other network, I think she just did what is best for her career. I mean… if look at the roles given to her during her stay with GMA, all her roles were as lousy the effects in the fantasy series. Baka nag sawa na siya sa kakatingin sa sarili nya sa TV na lumilipad na naka tayo. Sa napansin ko kasi, puro lang fantasy roles ang pinapagawa sa kanya tapos kung sine naman eh puro lang pampakilig sa mga kabataang di pa gaananong na intindihan ang pag-iibigang tunay. My point is she wanted more mature and serious roles.

And hey, tip ko sa GMA kung gagawa pa nang mga fantasy series, let your characters stick to their roles. kung sundalo sila, dapat snappy stiff sila gumalaw na parang sundalo talaga.
at kung super hero naman, sana kung may battle scene, sana di sila magpakita nang emotion kung susuntok ug gagamit nang espada. dapat kasi parang invincible sila tignan(superhero eh). maliban nalang kung nasugatan o nasaktan talaga. sa visual effects naman, alam nyo na siguro yan. yun lang po para sa ikagaganda nang mga gawang pinoy.

The real issue is how the talent managed her relationship with the network concerned and how it affected the work of the talents they managed. Becky did not handle it very well in this case. Bakit si Boy Abunda? He has talents in both networks, kinkausap naman siya ng GMA even if he works for ABS. Yan ang tunay na manager, marunong isipin ang kapakanan ng lahat ng talento, hindi lang iyung isang pinagkakakitaan. The two talents should not even be fighting each other.

It is correct to say that Becky Aguila should have thought beyond what she can benefit from one talent. Angel Locsin is indeed her biggest money maker and by neglecting to ensure the safety of her other talent’s career, I get the impression that she’s all of the bucks. It is inevitable that all links to Becky will be affected by the negative chain reaction spawned from Locsin’s decision. From an far perspective, what I see is greed and selfishness. As for Jennylyn Mercado, I think she made the right decision by not fanning the flames and letting the spotlight be focused back to her. Yes, she did well in choosing to stay in place where there is more than big bucks but a lifetime of no regrets.

Its unfair for jennylyn to be rated second to angel, after all she’s already proven her worth, only then than that she’s affected by the ingratefulness brouhaha of her manager to the station that brought angel to the limelight. Jennylyn has successfully won over a highly competitive talent search, via her singing, acting and dancing prowess. She’s still the long way to go unlike angel that has limited talent and has already scaled the peak of her career and is now about to descend the throne.

It is good to jennylyn to have another manager if the hindrance of her career is the present manager. GMA 7 is only doing what is good for the company as well as to the star.

I think Angel should just contend on what she has, and let Jen do her part. I hate Jennylyn due to her obliviousness of her character, but it seems it’s angel becoming that oblivious.

About this Angel Locsin moving to ABS-CBN and issuing comments like she’s “the solution” to give the #1 spot to ABS, this girl is dreaming! It takes more than that to shape up, hooky! Angel is just another “ingrata” changing fences. We don’t want to watch her programs at all. GMA 7 is lucky for the “good riddance”, but too bad for Channel 2.

It’s Angel Locsin who should be proving her worth, not Jennylyn. Si Jennylyn matagal nang napatunayan ang sarili because of her talent in acting and singing. As for Angel? She can’t even sing, dance, or host! Heck, she doesn’t even act that well!

Angel just became popular because GMA made her become one. Kung hindi naman siya pinasikat nang husto ng GMA, matutulad lang din siya sa mga Starstruck avengers na puro supporting roles lang ang natatanggap.

And then, she even got the nerves to transfer to the “lair” of such outstanding and respected actresses as Judy Ann Santos, Claudine Baretto, Bea Alonso, and Kristine Hermosa. What the heck! Angel even pales in comparison to ABS-CBN’s fast-rising star Maja Salvador. Kung pag-uusapan lang natin dito ang talent sa pagkanta, pag-arte at pagsayaw, tapos na usapan! Maja will leave Angel by a MILE!

Kaya Angel, wag kang magmalaki. Dahil kung sa talent at talent lang, mas marami ka pang dapat i-prove kaysa kay Jennylyn!

My opinion… angel should have not reacted that way. Pinalaki niya lang ang issue. In the first place, wala namang sinabi si jennylyn na siya sinisisi sa pagiging down ng career ni jennylyn. Based sa interview, jennylyn talked about what she feels with the circumstance… which is natural for her to feel… kasi totoo naman… bakit kelangan ma-cancel mga transactions niya kung na-manage ni becky nang maigi ang sitwasyon? Well hindi naman niya sinabi na kasalanan lahat ni angel yun… masama lang loob niya sa manager niya… dahil hindi lang naman GMA ang di nila nasaktan… si jennylyn din. Parang tinuring niya na ring nanay si Becky… at kapatid si angel (although, according kay angel di naman daw sila close… which is di naman niya dapat gawing reason yun… guilty lang si angel).

Leaving GMA for a network that makes smorgasboard shows and still has a gazillion of stars in its stable? Angel made a wrong move.With KC there, I bet its gonna be hard proving her WORTH!

All I know is that ABS-CBN makes chopsuey shows that makes my head spin. Either walang patutunguhan ang istorya or spinning off the same formula over and over again its insulting to the people who watches.

Well Buttercup, it’s no longer our problem if how Jennylyn will prove her worth. That is why Angel was daring Jenny to prove it because satsat ng satsat yang si Jenny about all the blame to other people whom she thinks have caused her waning career, but then she didn’t realize that it’s just she herself who is molding her own career and is thus has the control of what’s happening in her! Talented nga siya, but the big question now is that why is it quite hard for her to be a big star? One reason maybe is that she lacks the aura which Angel vastly has. She lacks the beauty which Angel has as well. And then, I think, she lacks the “X” factor (or even doesn’t have it) which Angel, I believe, has. Angel may not have the worldly talents but then how come she is so sellable to the viewing public and advertisers? Well, that’s the question that may be answerable by a few lines but still carries with it an “X” explanation that can’t be easily figured out by a man’s naked eye.

Angel started as a nobody until she was considered a role in Mulawin as Alwina. She was not yet that star until the news broke off with the death of his boyfriend Miko Sotto. She got to play the role of the girl who is the recepient of the eyes of Miko in Magpakailanman. People empathized with her and led to get more lead roles in GMA. On my own personal perspective, she is not yet at par with the best actresses we have that stood the test of time. Minimal improvement was seen from her from the time she started as Charlie in the Saturday show in GMA and she even did not get acting awards with the numerous movies she made with GMA and Regal Films. She is lucky to be given such a break with an average skills in acting with her angelic face in GMA. She could have at least learned to be tactful and be a lady in handling the situation when she left GMA. Let us all learn from her fall that “respect begets respect”. Her feud with Jennilyn, they could have taken it offline.

Better na nag leave si Angel sa GMA kasi wala siyang mapapala doon. The BEST talaga ang ABS-CBN mapa Luzon, Mindanao at lalo na sa Visayas, wala ng tatalo sa ABS-CBN…Napa ka dry ng shows ng GMA parang hindi sila nagshoshows…Angel u made the right decision…mga paos na ang artista sa GMA…hahaha

angel has improved since her first appearance as a kapamilya talent. not only did she show her versatility as an actress, she was also given a variety of roles that tested her capabilities. she wasn’t getting any of that in gma as she was always given damsel-in-distress kind of roles (with one exception — asian treasures). AT’s plot however was obviously half-baked with the ending looking like they ran out of thought bubbles to use kaya “bahala na lang kung magustuhan nila” kind of ending yung nangyari. so there, a network that pushes you to defy your limits and further enhance your talent as an actress, for angel that’s abs-cbn. those who cannot accept that should just continue to sit on their lazy ass being truly ignorant about the world.

angel locsin’s move to rival abs-cbn paved the way for her fall (fallen angel)! that’s too bad for a rising star that she was. more people got turned off because of her ingratitude. less people would support (as more would rather boycott) her projects now. everyone i know (family and friends included) who adored her thru her tv soaps over gma 7would rather tune in to whatever rival program she was up against. there are implications and rumors we heard from rich guy friends that she’s a highly paid whore! hope viewers especially kids be wary in supporting such a star, that’s if she still is!

read in the inquirer over the weekend about abs-cbn execs torn between kc concepcion and angel locsin. looks like it’s unanimous decision that they’ll push for kc’s tv career more than angel’s. feel bad for locsin, guess this is what you get for moving camps without thinking it hard. when money counts more than loyalty, you either get treachery or infidelity in return. wawa naman talaga siya, wala pa ngang worthy projects sa abs, balak na siya agad ilaglag sa ere ng kapamilya newtork. poor angel!

I do believe that the angel in disguise now is a fallen angel nowadays. During her heyday at GMA, you can always see her face every now and then, endorsing lots of commercials, a TV fantaserye one after another. (and take note they were all certified blockbuster TV hit) And above all she’s been respected by all the people esp. the masses because of her down-to-earth attitude back then despite of the fact that she’s undoubtedly one of the most popular actress in her time. But now analyze things how it changed. Any person could think that angel locsin will not shine in ABS as what she did in GMA. The sad part of it all…sinakmal nya ng patalikod ang kumpanyang gumawa sa kanya ng pangalan together with her manager becky aguila. She was lured into the glimpse of money that she was offered to her forgetting about utang na loob and respeto to all the people that made her from scratch to star Now most of the people who are supporting angel back then are now turning back on her. Simply because filipino values still rules no matter what…that is…utang na loob. And angel locsin cannot gain sympathy from the masses from what she did because in the first place wala sya nun. Angel what goes around, comes around and that is…KARMA

Well let’s admit na LAOS na ni Angel Locsin, this time ABS experiment a movie together with Piolo, sa tingin ko hindi na yan maghihit kase mas inaabangan ang richard at kc movie sa first quarter ng 2009. OMG! feeling lalangawin niyang movie ni Angel Locsin. Super Laos na Kaya siya. Ganyan ang nagyayari sa mga sinungaling at inggrata. Well I wish lalo pang malaos yang PAMBANSANG INGGRATA!
