I just hope that Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual really pursue their cases against her to teach her a lesson. GMA7, if you really are true to your mission of bringing clean entertainment to the Filipino people, stop cuddling Liars with zero credibility.

For me, I agree with Sam. It is below the belt. First of all Lolit Solis, tinanong niya sa waiter kung si Piolo at Sam ‘yon at kung madalas ba ‘yong dalawa doon. Tapos she wrote na, sweet na sweet at magkadikit ang pisngi na nagbubulungan. Tapos ang headline pa may naglalampungan. Question is anong makukuha niya sa pagsulat. Well, heto nakukuha na niya, di ba pinag-uusapan dahil sa ingredient ng pagkakasulat niya? Ang nakuha niya ay satisfaction na magiging mabili ang diyaryo dahil sa malisyosong article niya? So dapat lang siyang idemanda, nila Piolo at Sam.

Lolit Solis doesn’t have any credibility at all. She thinks that since she admitted what she did with Manila Film Festival, everything will be forgotten and she will have no bad record. Wrong. Any legal case she would be involved with, like this impending court case of Sam, her background will be checked, and voila - she will definitely lost her case. Sam might seek the assistance of US Embassy, him being an American citizen and he needs help and protection. The US Embassy might cancel the US visa of Lolit and if and when it will happened, she can no longer visit her family in the states in a regular basis. Lolit Solis, in her age now, should quit from hurting people. It’s not funny at all. Those people surrounding her, they are only there because they can use her - money, connection, etc.

Lolit Solis has a history of dishonesty (Film Festival Scandal) and of slandering and defaming people’s characters. Let’s not forget that the story about Angel Locsin’s alleged porn video also came from her. It was ultimately revealed that the star of the video was not Angel but a lookalike. Yet, Lolit never offered a word of apology to Angel or retracted anything else that she said, i.e., pregnancy, etc. Sam and Piolo should proceed with legal actions against Lolit. She is irresponsible and vicious and should be made to pay for that. Actors are people too. They should be afforded respect like regular human beings and not treated like merchandise. Lolit Solis must be taught a lesson and I hope Sam and Piolo does just that.

- this is like being presumptuous, that she is presuming something that “may” be declared about a person later in the future which may also turn out to be a dud. I think that Sam or Piolo is gay. Either of them is gay. Sam was very defensive when asked questions about his whereabouts during the time when Lolit claimed that she saw Piolo and Sam. I don’t believe to Lolit either because her credibility as a person has been broken since way back when the Ruffa - Manila Scandal took place but anyway I also believe that one of them is gay. I think Piolo is. He has so many cover-ups and the star magic has many alibis to protect their artist.

There should be nothing wrong with two guys being sweet to each other if, and only if, they are admittedly gay. But Sam and Piolo are not. That, in the first place, is why Lolit thought it was something newsworthy, thus deserving of space in her column. Two celebrity guys, who never admitted they were gay, were seen by her (note, an alleged eyewitness account) being sweet in a hotel coffeeshop. Fabricated or not, such story sparks controversy, and a person like Lolit revels in controversy. To say that she didn’t stand to gain from it is simply hypocritical. But what could we expect from one who makes a living from gossip?

I don’t like Lolit, but I don’t like hypocrisy either. I still remember how Piolo declared on The Buzz two years ago na hindi siya bading. He looked straight onto the camera, with maong jacket and all. God, until now, that scene gives me the creeps. And Sam? Most of us are missing the main point. Lolit Solis(and others like her) will always be around if there are organisations/groups who still employ her. Hence, people should direct their opinions/complaints to the management who employs her/them (civil way) or boycott them (drastic/radical way).
On the other hand, is she not a reflection of the kind of values/morality our society is becoming/having? Or are we not a party as to why people like Solis thrive in our society?
Well, just something to think about. Although we should not waste precious time and energy to people like her but on how we can improve our country.

It is appaling to me that the Philippine Showbiz industry continues to tolerate a garbage journalist/host like Lolit Solis. There is nothing to respect nor believe about this person. She is self-serving, liar, greedy, foul mouthed, manipulative, scammer, leech-like opportunist. I would never want to be next to her. If I was in Sam’s and Piolo’s shoes, I would also run away as fast as I can if I know that she is coming. It smells garbage around her.

There is nothing wrong with being gay. Gays are well accepted and respected. If it is true that someone is gay in this story, what is bad about it is that someone is fooling the public about his gender orientation. Lolit may have a credibility problem, but maybe what she has seen only adds to the rumors about Piolo being gay. I have heard that Piolo was also seen in a gay bar in Toronto. If a case is filed against Lolit, she can prove herself if the people at the hotel can corroborate with her. Also, you have heard about cellphones being bugged, cellphone records can also tell where a person is by looking at which cellsite a person’s cellphone has logged in. It is not necessary that a call is made, a cellphone always logs in to a nearby cellsite.

Lolit Solis is a huge disgrace in the Philippine movie industry. Her only agenda in this business is to make money no matter what it takes. Pakapalan na lang ng mukha. When she was starting she is the one who invented the envelope please whenever there is a press conference. Movie people took her as their manager because she has no shame in promoting their career at any cost. Remember the Famas award where she herself changed the winners. I have read all of the above comments and remarks and I do believed and symphatized with them. Lolit Solis is a “craft” and a “rotten rat if I may say so. Nakakaawa naman talaga ang Pilipinas kung ganitong klaseng lang nang mga tao ang magiging journalist natin. Kaya siguro ganoon na lang ang paghamak sa atin nang mga taga-ibang bansa dahil sa mga kagaya nitong “journalist” na gaya ni Lolit Solis na gagawin ang lahat magkapera lamang. If this guy wants to sue, just sue and not telegraph your moves to your “kalaban”. You will be like the government who tells the world what it will do or planning to do instead of just doing what you want to do.

Otherwise, just take it with a grain of salt. Shrug your shoulders and move on. There is nothing to gain in giving it much attention. one has to assess the real issue here.

it’s true that lolit is palingkera and uneducated, and she doesn’t have any once of decency to deny that fact. she admits that, this is how she makes a living. so, nobody can do anything about that.

this whole thing started with a write up. the headline says “naglalampungan”, but that word was never used in the actual content of the write up. girls, you must know that, sometimes, the writer or the columist has nothing to do with the caption or the title of the column. many times, it’s the editor-in-chief or the head wrtier of the section or someone else, who is responsible. remember, all headlines or captions are carefully worded to attract attention. it looks like lolit has nothing to do with the caption of her story, with the use of the word “naglalampungan”.

i read the article, and the article doesn’t say anything about them “naglalampungan”. girls, read the article again, and what lolit said was that, she just saw sam and piolo in sofitel whispering to one another, and that, hey hurriedly left when the waiter called lolit’s name.

so, let’s just stick to the fact. again, it’s true that lolit has a little credibility, but when the trial starts, if it happens, the lawyers of sam will use her credibility or the lack thereof as an offensive tactic, but lotit’s lawyer will bring it back to the real issue again, whether the article she wrote catergorically mentioned that piolo and same
are gay.

if sam sues lolit. two things that the court has to make a decision:

first - the word “naglalampungan”. when it’s used in a sentence pertaining to two men, does it connotes homosexuality?

second - if the courts decides it is homosexual. then the court has to decide who is responsible for the use of that word as a caption to lolit’s article, was it lolit or somebody else (head writer of the entertainment section, the editor-in-chief, or someone else).

so girls, hinay hinay lang. lolit has nothing to lose here, bec she is a loser already. either way, samantha and piola will be exposed when this goes to court. it will be very bloody and messy, and samantha, piola and the rest of the public will be exposed to different tales about them.

this reminds me of the michael jackson trial. members of the jury had no doubt in their minds who michael jackson was, but on that particular case, he could not be found guilty because the prosecutors found the wrong case to prove who he really was. but michael jackson was literally exposed to his bones, and the whole public found out things that they have been suspecting all along.

and that i think will happen here. if the trial starts, piola and samantha will be exposed in situations and stories that they wouldn’t wanna hear.

As to her evidence in this story, where it is? As a media person, one should not just rely on his/her instinct or mere say so. With all the modern technology available, she would have a mobile phone with a camera and took photo to prove her story and to back up her claims and have someone from the place to authenticate what she saw. What she has is simply a gossip and defamatory to those she maligned. Justice demands that she answers for what she had written in a proper forum, that is the court and prove her case.

the issue has nothing to do with what Lolit Solis wrote–it is how Sam has reacted strongly and negatively, which reveals rather than hide what he wants to remain in his closetful of homophobia. He is the one being malicious about it because he’s scared that what he hides is actually what he shows in public.

Get on with it and bring this issue to the court para magkaalaman na! Pinatatagal pa at pinahahaba pa. Sa korte na lang pag-usapan ang isyu at ng malaman kung ano talaga ang totoo..

He loves talking to bartenders, introducing himself, giving his numbers to them, and inviting them to visit him where he stays… what is the problem? Those are Japanese MEN bartenders! How did I know? I talked to the bartender to whom Piolo spoke before he left the place, and that bartender revealed everything to me.

This is yet another clear example of how we Filipinos are simply too sensitive…period. Lolita Solis and her colleagues are the only reason we, the public, even care about this lesser-known celebrity. It’s one thing to demand an apology from the US’s ABC network for degrading our entire nation’s medical education system, but Sam needs to get a grip on reality; don’t bite the hand that feeds you. I’m as heterosexual as it gets, but I don’t agree that being accused as a homosexual justifies litigation. Even moreso than our American counterparts, the Filipino culture as accepted that we have gay countrymen amongst us. We’ve even included gay characters in our movies far before the US, so why is it a crime now to print opinions? Sam needs to enjoy his celebrity status as long as he can, before he fades in our fickle memories, or more serious news about his financial woes emerges in more serious media.

In my opinion, when someone is ‘outed’ as potentially being gay, he/she may indeed be gay. I agree with earlier posts that there’s nothing wrong with being gay, but it’s still a personal matter. I’m single and love men too much to stray any other direction, but I can also imagine how horrible Sam must feel. He may be exploring a side of him he knew existed but never did anything about it. So when he finally ‘experiments’ with his feelings, he gets expose publically. I agree with another earlier post, let it go, and maybe you’ll feel better about the day when you come out of the proverbial closet.

Hoy mga Hipokrito at hipokrita, tingnan nyo muna sarili nyo bago kayo mambato ng iba,kung oras oras nagkakamali si lolit ganun din kayo, kung ganun na nga ang nakita nya at naisulat nya trabaho ni lolit yun, kung mali e di mali siya, pero kung makapanlait kayo mga buwa kayo ng ina nyo pare-pareho lang kayo na buhay pa sinisilaban na sa impyerno, bilangin nyo rin kung gaano karaming kasalanan nagagawa mo sa isang araw,.. umpisahan nyo na mga boplask.

this morning,nag-file na ng demanda sina sam and piolo sa manila city hall para kay lolita solis.how time flies,doon din nademanda si lolita sa MMFFswitching scandal.how can i forget kung paano sya murahin,kutyain,sigawan ng mga salitang mahirap tanggapin at batuhin ng mga basura at papel.sana nga ay ito na ang panahon para singilin ang babaeng diablo na nagkatawang tao.ang babaeng ugat ng maraming kasiraan sa showbiz.ang babaeng lider ng showbiz mafia na kumikita sa pananamantala at paninira ng mga inosenteng buhay.wala silang ipinag-iba sa mga magnanakaw,holdupper at killer.sana nga ay dumating na ang oras mo lolita solis…kung nakalusot ka amn sa scam nuon….sana hindi na ngayon!!!
