gabby maybe a lot of things but being ingrate and mukhang pera are not one of them. some people take advantage of his situation when they knew that he had no one to help him. RF and her paid writers should not dig up past mistakes of Gabby just to discredit him, just answer his allegations with transparency and honesty, let us talk about the present.

If I were Mrs Rose F., let Gabby buy out his managerial contract. Tingnan mo kung sino pa ang mag manage sa kanya. After all si Ms Lolit lang naman talaga ang naging masigasig at matiyagang nag manage sa kanya which at the end iniwanan nya sa gitna ng laban. Tumakbo sya sa America. Mag isa si Ms Lolit na humarap at umamin sa lahat ng kaso.

These showbiz managers are all after money all at the expense of their talents. Talents has no choice because thats their business. Without managers, they wont have shows. But in this case, I believe Gabby. Rose Flaminiano is taking advantage of gabby. Gabby is out of the country for so long that right now he seems to be at a lost and do not know whom to trust. kung ang show niya ay babayaran ng one million pesos, wala siyang pakialam dahil arrangement na yon ng manager niya.
what prevails is the amount he is to be paid that he signed in the contract and nothing else.
secondly, yong ibabayad niya sa abogado na si Fortun ay kulang pa ang kikitain niya sa buong show niya.

Gabby has a point here. Being transparent and honest in work dealings is an ethical thing to do. And if Gabby doesn’t wanna work with RF, let him be…after all, we’re living in a free society. If that will happen to me, I’ll do the same…find another manager/mentor who won’t exploit me!

for the two people involved. why don’t you guys be honest about everything . do not make other people involve on this mess ……just you and the other party…..do not make it more complicated by making up stories not related to the main problem…..both of you should settle this mess with your lawyers in a private way….then tell the public the verdict afterwards anyways this will lessen the burden and the complications on both sides….. peace will please everybody !!!!

Gabby has a history with his “career” (or the lack of it), being handled by anyone besides his families. He should be thankful that his just a Filipino “artist”. In Hollywood there is such thing as being black listed. An American actor named Jason Behr. sued his manager to get the extra cash that he rightfully and legally deserves when he became famous.
Instead of a thank you he served him with a subpoena. Unfortunately for him his manager was a powerful Hollywood figure and they took note of him since then the actor never regain his career he made movies that are straight to video and the only one that he made with anything that resembled a box office notice was the Grudge. but the success was due to the storyline and Sarah Michelle Geller. I think if Gabby is unable to change his ways. He should go balk to the US and be a simple taxi driver that he used to be. And give up his career and stop wasting every bodies time and money. He’s old enough to know that in order for him to succeed in any form of entertainment he needs to be handled by an expert. Consistently biting the hands that feed him is not the way for him to disappear from the Philippine showbiz radar forever. The entertainment business survived without him before they could do it again. for every Gabby Concepcion there are 10 young virile mestizos to be mold after him and replace him. He’s no spring chicken anymore and his talent is still questionable.

Give Gabby a fair deal. Here’s a man who is back in the Philippines to set straight his past indiscretions, and is trying to live an honest, decent life. I believe in what the man is saying re: his manager. Please let him have his life back. He has suffered enough and learned his lessons from it.

gabby is on the right track of rescinding management contract with mrs. flaminiano. any contract should be built on trust and apparently, gabby has lost his trust and confidence in mrs. flaminiano due to the latter’s lack of transparency. gabby is a changed man; got his degree from the usa and a much more mature and reliable person more than ever; has got so much talent and of course charisma with his adoring fans and audience. go gabby go! don’t mind the intrigues. all the best!

Gabby’s case is similar to Manny Pacquiao’s who signed a boxing contract two years ago with US promoter Murad Muhammad only to find out that Murad excluded Manny from the multi-million pay-per-view deal Murad signed with HBO. Manny sued for 33 million dollars share from the PPV. Knowng he would lose in court for non-disclosure of the deal with HBO, Murad settled with Pacquiao out of court. It is believed Manny must have received about half of the amount as his share.

It is really sad to know the issue between manager and ward but transparency is a simple issue and take note it is really disappointing that the manager is hiding lots of skeletons on the closet.

i am not really a gabby concepcion fan however i am of the opinion that he is the one who is on the right side this time. a contractual agreement between two people means that everything should “kwentas claras” as the spanish say between them. reading through the article, whether we speak of a discrepancy of 25,000 that is still a large amount when you add it all up for each of the shows. if the funds were used promotions or whatever other expense for the shows then it should be declared. mr. concepcion has had his ups and downs in the industry and in his life. some people say that what is happening to him is karma. i disagree. i think he was just taken for a ride by someone who saw the peso potential in bringing him back to manila. my sympathies to your mr. concepcion. i hope things will work out for you. and karma? well what goes around comes around and both mrs. flaminiano and mr. concepcion will get their just desserts (both for good or for ill) when the time is right - as they say, “in God’s time”
