true... true!
pinoys that we are, we're all afflicted with this "clicktosis" disease. for some, they deny it, but still the obvious comes out somehow that everybody loves to pose for a snapshot or two.

things i did in the advent of digicams and scanners... i scanned all pictures in my own 'baul' and transferred from 1mb diskettes to new gen 8 mb disks, to zip drives 80mb, to 800 mb cd's, to 2gig dvd's, to 8 gig thumb drives, to 250 gig external hard drives, to the web (in private), whew! name it.. and put them in different places (and on ziplocs). hmmm... the only way i lose out on this is end of the world or the demise of the net!

Ang ganda ng kuwento niyo kahit masamang karanasan. We filipinos should always be ready sa baha, bagyo, lindol, etc. I am ofw. I try myself to be always ready. Fully-charged cellphone, water, batteries and flashlight, credit card, chhocolates, are in my small bag. Also bring your own personal directory or memorize important phone numbers if you are travelling by plane or bus. Always think a problem will happen. If you plan to stay in a hotel, always know where the fire exit is and flashlight is important. Our country has safety issues. a hotel might have fire exits but we do not know kung may nakabara sa likod ng pinto ng fire exit, o kung puwede itong gamitin ng buntis o matanda o ng bata.
Anong magagawa natin? Wala. Kung gagawin mo lahat ng sinabi ko sasabihin nila pessimistic ka. CORRECT?

This is a very refreshing blog. It almost seems fictional as most news stories and information coming from other sources show antagonism on the government and the environmental problems we are experiencing.

Your blog shows courage and calmness that one needs in the light of the ondoy's inundation. Although the calamity has been considered as an once-in-a-lifetime event, I hope that the next great flood comes, people are more prepared by putting into heart the advice you have provided us.

thanks for the great reading.

Good story to share. We should never give up at times like these.

For someone living at the boundary of Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas (Sangandaan, Caloocan) I feel awfully blessed though that my family and house was spared.
