OK, sorry ‘coz this is a bit of shameless plugging since I’m one of the writers who contributed an essay to this anthology, along with fellow Soundtrip blogger Erwin Oliva, but man, nakakataba ng puso ang ginawang video nitong fan na ito 
I’m talking about “Tikman Ang Langit: An Anthology on the Eraserheads,” the very first book on the Philippines’ own Fab Four.
This book was made possible by our fellow journalists Melvin Calimag of Manila Bulletin and Jing Garcia of Manila Times, who dreamt of coming out with an Eheads book and worked their asses off to make it come true. The anthology is edited by Ces Rodriguez.

The book is available at National Book Store and Powerbooks for P180 (tama ba mga p’re, hehe), though I hear it’s sold out in some branches. You could also buy copies at Taberna Ocho, a bar along Maginhawa Street in Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. Check out their blog for the address and contact info.

EHEADS….THE BEST! galing galing talaga! I was in high school when their songs made waves everywhere. until now I listen to their original hits. Spolarium became our “theme song” sa dating office ko. Sana magkaroon ng get-together concert silang lahat.

Yes, E-heads pa din! I remember, nung nagsisimula pa lang sila napapakinggan ko na yung mga una nilang songs sa DWLA 105.9, kahit di pa released nung kaka-graduate ko lang nang HS. Underground pa sila nun until sumikat na sila and the rest of couple of bands. Sarap pakinggan ng mga songs nila, para silang beatles noon. I have complete collections of their albums na nasa MP3 format na.

good news yan pag nakakabalita tayo na nagpeperform ulit together ang e-heads. sayang wala si ely. favorite ko sa songs nila ang “minsan”. nagtitrip-down memory lane ako pag pinapatugtog ko. alala ko yung college days namin ng tropa. i’m sure it would be a record breaker kung gagawa ulit sila ng reunion album or even concert. well, “sana”!

nabili ko yung unang album nila sa halagang P20 lang. cassette tape lang yon, kasi yung kaklase ko, ayun yung nakuha niya sa Christmas exchange gift at hindi daw niya gusto yon. kaya nung sinabi niyang Bente lang, bili agad ako. from there, I became a great fan of them. The best, yung nadala namin sila sa school namin, nung 4th year High School kami. Nagperform sila sa School namin at yun ang biggest Achievement ng Batch namin. The Best talaga ang Eraserheads!!!!!!!!!!!

The best na bandang Pinoy! Natandaan ko pa nung unang-i-air sa radio station na “Pare Ko” na explicit version! Grade 6 lang ako nun…. Haay, those were the days… Hanggang nung mag-highschool ako at dagsaan na ang albums nila like Circus, Cutter Pillow, Fruit Cake, Sticker Happy, etc. Wala pa ring kupas, E-Heads the best!!!

Eheads rules! I am really a fangirl of the eheads eversince I was in the 4th grade. I became really nostalgic when I was reading the Tikman book. Too bad i wasn’t able to attend the launching then.. I had work. huhu.

i bought a copy…well i was expecting for insights from the members of the band. still salute to the writers for giving a tribute to the band that i love. so this is it…a reunion concert ha. isa lang masasabi ko…long live eraserheads!!!! where can i get tickets?!!! help!
