REMEMBER Binky Lampano? Well, he has a new band called Lampano Alley. He was “caught” playing at 19East in Parañaque with other Filipino blues bands. Thanks to Gerry, I was able to catch the gigs online. The wonders of YouTube, heh.
The following video clip features Lampano Alley performing “Losing You.” It is a snappy song with Binky Lampano on vocals, Tom Colvin on harmonica (blues harp), Edwin Vergara on guitar, Simon Tan on bass and Rey (uh, no last name indicated in the video description) on drums.

Lampano Alley is not Binky’s new band, it has been his band since the late 90’s.
Rey on drums is Rey Vinoya, and quite a fantastic and dynamic drummer if I may add.
The audio was recorded live into a mobile multi-track recording studio.

wala pa nun internet ,cellphone but there was already Lampano alley ,if you were a regular listener of Pinoy rock and rhythm in its dying years,the late great Howlin Davealways plays a blues song from the band ..
Binky was in town last year ,perhaps the writer though this was a new band but in reality its not..only DZRJ plays his kind of music..im talking about the blues baby..
