POOR Manny.
He’s made us proud time and again with his incredible exploits inside the boxing ring, but his ill-fated decision to enter the political arena resulted in a humiliating defeat.
What’s worse, if this information from a reader of Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist Recah Trinidad is true, Pacquiao lost the election and a lot of his own money because he was “knocked out” by his own general campaign manager.
Here’s an excerpt from Recah’s column piece:
Reader Renato Ramones Reyes, who gave his address at 10 Magsaysay Avenue, Gen. Santos City, threw most of the blame on Pacquiao’s general campaign manager whom he described as an irresponsible, greedy, incompetent hanger-on who took advantage of Pacquiao’s sincerity and innocence:

Dear Sir,
Binabasa ko yong column mo “Bare Eye” lalo na kung si Manny Pacquiao ang subject matter mo. Hindi totoo na si Darlene at si GMA ang nag-knockout kay Manny. Maybe kung sa points 20 percent lang. Ang malaking dahilan ng pagkatalo ni Manny ay ang kanyang General Campaign Manager (GCM), na incompetent, tamad, lasengo, womanizer, sugarol, sabungero, at marami pang iba.

Lessons learned - huwag mag todo ambisyon, huwag magpagamit sa iba, hindi politika ang paraan para tumulong sa kapwa…sana matuto ka Manny!!!

Lesson for Manny: Don’t hang around people like Chavit and Atienza - especially Chavit. Ang dapat na dikitan mo are people like Gilbert Remulla or Alfredo Lim.

I hope that this is a lesson for all celebrities who thinks that they can win the vote of the common tao. They should start first for the basic local community if they want to prove themselves and try another ladder if they wish to expand more,

Pacquiao loss the election because he is not qualified.PERIOD ,he did’nt even reach 1st year of college education, GED nah. Manny will start to realized that politics is no longer”PASIKATAN” Look at all the candidates that he endorses during the last election sa Senate, City Mayors …LAHAT TALO..
Basta GMA talo KA. He should just concentrate in boxing, kaya lang chicken dahil ayaw lumaban kay Marquez..
