WHO are you rooting for in the National Basketball Association finals? And why do you think your team will win?
As for me, I'm a Dallas Mavericks fan so olats na hehe :) I was a big Chicago Bulls fan during the Michael Jordan years. Not yet that devoted to the Mavs, but they've been my fave team for the past few, frustrating years.
Anyway, I know the San Antonio Spurs are favored to win but I'm rooting for the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James.
Oh, and here's an interesting fact about this NBA finals: it will involve a record nine non-US players.
Will King James pull it off? We'll see.
Who will win, the Cavs or the Spurs?

Of course, Cleveland has it all!
KING JAMES RULES!
Goodluck sa Cleveland!
For me, Spurs will gonna make it again..i'm the avid fan of Spurs, esp of my humble played basic basketball Tim Duncan! I was a big fanatic fan of Bulls also when Jordan's era, but when he retired, then comeback and retired again I lose my interest in NBA anymore...until I watched Tim Duncan how he handles everygame to be a coolest SUPERSTAR Player in the NBA EVER...and that's why my interest in NBA resurrected..definetely, the outside defense minister Bruce Bowen will takeover about Lebron..but we don't know how bowen handles Lebron, since defense specialist Tayshaun Prince outmatched by Lebron...But I also want the CAVS to make it...for them to taste the true meaning of sweet..after very very hard sacrifices...sana umabot ng game 7, para sulit na sulit! I LOVE NBA!
I'm not rooting for any of them, but i think Spurs will get the championship thropy.
My favorite team Lakers is always eliminated, special thanks to Kobe!

For me, i want Cavs to get the victory over the Spurs. I want Cavs to get the trhopy. Even Tim was good superstar NBA player, basta gusto ko Cavs ang magchampion to make it difference... That's all...................................
I hope the Spurs will not resort to the only solution to stop Lebron. I am afraid in their desperation to win they might just do it. To the Spurs, you have won 4 titles in 9 years already, lets just play fair and make this one of the best NBA championship ever.
I have given up on basketball after the last Asian games. That time two things happened which could have turned things around. First, Danny Seigle, our 3-pt. artist got injured. Second, the game against Korea should have been won. But I am changing my mind now. With the present line-up, I know it can be done. If I were rich, I would give each team member 1M and since I am not I will pray for the team 3 times a day. My appeal to the players: play your hearts out like commiting suicide. Mark please initiate this attitude cause even if I am in California I watched all your games and I see that you do what it takes in international play: play "suicidal"! Mabuhay ang ating bansang Pilipinas!
Cleveland...they're hungry.
Good am,
I know the spurs have 3 titles already and will do everything to get the no.4 .
but the way cleveland defeated the favored detroit during the east finals ,
This time i will go for the CAVS this season.
Good luck !!!
goliath vs david... old vs the new...
of course i'd bet for the Cavs!
DO it LeBron!
i want cleveland to win i bet one case of san mig for them but with plus 5 points each and every game against the spurs.
King James rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
spurs . khit ayoko sa kanila. my daga sa puwet c james....bowen p lang ang nagbantay, wala ng nagawa...
i am cheering for the cavs. cavs will win in 6 games. go cavs. hail the king!
I would want the Spurs to win for the following reasons:
1. For Michael Finley to finally get his ring after that heartbreak first year following his move from Dallas to San Antonio. He's been one of the game's stars who have not won any championship. I hope it gets to him before he retires.
2. I have always frowned at high school players (no matter how talented) making the big leap from high school to the pros. Cavs winning the championship will all the more encourage other young players to follow LeBron's steps. As the NBA motto goes, it's always best to stay in school.
3. LeBron is just too flamboyant, not the kind of level-headed character we Filipinos idolized in Michael Jordan. Why reward the guy with a championship, when he's starting to show that success and superstardom will eventually get into his head?
4. Cleveland does not play team basketball most of the time, especially when "King" James takes over. Sabi nga nung sapatos, "It takes five" (or twelve even).
5. I have a relative who lives in Ohio. Sigurado mas magiging hambog na naman 'yun pag nanalo Cleveland. :D
