But as for coaching i want caoch Bo for Air21.
iba na ang basketball ngayon compared b4.mas technical and deep ang system ng bawat team.wala ng magic si jawo.why not alfrancis chua?
Ayos!!! andyan uli si jawo. Kantyawan na naman to laban sa matanda. Exciting!!!! battle of the ages coming up!!!!!!!!!
I think its good to have Jawo back. We need something new in the PBA (or in this case old :)). We need bring back some excitement in the league to make the fans want to come back and watch the games again.
I prefer watching the PBA team when they go on tour abroad kasi at least there is unpredictability, which makes the game more exciting.
It's good he will be back. I will come to Philippines in his first game. See you all!
Jawo had major technical blunders before but that is not his forte. Despite his handicap, his contagious fighting heart put his teams in front.
I doubt though if he will have the same success in promoting a team that the masa cannot relate with. All the gin drinkers established a baranggay and even got him into the Senate.
I see excitment if Jawo face the Barangay Ginebra.. Bo Perasol will be his right hand?
ahhh ok yan old tactics if ppd pa..heheheh un bang pag foul pilayan mo??? yan ang tatak ni jawo,,agree? mas exciting yan
It's good to hear that Jaworski will be making his return in the PBA soon. This will certainly be a booster of PBA's number of fans and viewers. But he's return to Air21 doesn't guarantee an improvement on Air21's team development and brand of basketball play. For sure, Jaworski will contribute much to the team, he is not the living legend for nothing.
Goodluck to the Big J on his return!
Let's get it on!
the return of Sen. Jaworski will be something to watch for sa PBA if ever.
his passion for the game will make the young players of air21 more exciting.
Playing coach ba ulit si Jawo? Haha.
Go JAWORSKI!!!
good for him..maybe he really belongs there not on politics.. sana wag nya gamitin ang pag co coach nya sa pagtakbo sa 2010
with jawo back, mas matindi ang labanan and intensity ng mga games. Every team will try its best. Ang you will see a much more competetive air 21 team.
Jawo has seen his better days both as a player and coach. There are a lot of younger coaches who put a lot of time and effort in studying the game of basketball, for one simple reason, love of the game. If Air21 has other reasons for getting Jawo like commercial considerations, its their prerogative, but its not doing basketball any good. We should move with the times.
Well, it could be for commercial reasons but it could also be that our league needs someone who could show the true passion for winning.
Yah, I know. Believe me, looking back in his long list of games, Jawo really get's into my nerves whenever he gets too physical with his game. But right now, I think it's different. I'm sure he has learned valuable lessons through those years that he coached and played in this league. Like the others, I want him back in the league. It'll be more exciting!
Good luck Coach!
Hoy Manny Villar,
Jawo's mere presence can bring more excitement in the league.
WELCOME BACK COACH JAWO.
I am a jaworski fan, he brings intensity to the game, the never-say-die spirit always burns in him, but I kind of question his coaching skills, does he goes to school to learn new trades, does he try to scout other coaches skills, there's a lot of work for him to do, specially Air 21 is not considered a championship team. He can pull out a miracle, during his Anejo / Ginebra days, but basketball today is science, not just gung-ho style of playing that he used to do.
good luck JAWO! welcome again to PBA!
I would like Jaworski to handle the weakest team in the PBA and let's see if he can make a winner out of teams that have never won a championship.
JAWORSKI! JAWORSKI! JAWORSKI! JAWORSKI CAN REVIVE THE PBA AND WILL MAKE IT MORE EXCITING THAN EVER.BE A COACH OR A PLAYER..YOU WILL SEE THE INTENSITY,DETERMINATION AND A FIGHTING HEART OF BIG J.NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE. GO BIG J! GOODLUCK! NICE MOVE AIR21.LET JAWORSKI FLY YOU TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Ahihihihi! exciting i2! Balik PBA c idol!
Welcome Big "J"! give us again an excitement to watch PBA!
he should've not leave in the first place. im not a fan of jawo but my nanay loves jawo.
BUT, lets face it. right after he left d pba, nagmukhang super trying hard ang buong pba sa paghahatak ng manonood. wlang pwedeng pumalit kay jawo. eala and his gang can now heave a sigh of relief. the heart & soul of pba is comin back, and pba will be back from the dead.
Yes! Its a very good news to all PBA FANS all over the world like my family! Our clan "Dumdum" is for Toyota, & Ginebra. My dad & Mom love "Jawo". Why not as coach & adviser to PBA??? Jawo is a basketball legend & a genius in basketball.
Jaworski is Jaworski, Ginebra is Ginebra Jaworski is Ginebra. I don't think returning to the PBA via another team is good for the Living Legend. Remember Jordan when he returned the second time not as a bull but as a wizard?
Whatever has been said & done, the big J was and will probably the only biggest single attraction the PBA has ever produced. I remember the time when I was watching with my father those fabled TOYOTA-CRISPA then later GINEBRA-ALASKA/SHELL games.... yes folks... the original "destroyer" is back (sorry to Distrito- tsk.tsk. pity he's in a US jail) I would say... good for the league, good for the tickets, good for the overall marketing of the PBA and the salvation of all jobs in the present PBA Management Team.
ok yan men,,,,go for jawo
well....it will be fantastic! manonood na naman ako ng PBA! since JAWORSKI left the PBA, hindi na ako nanood pa ulit. boring kasi, puro pa-cute na lang ang mga players. hindi katulad ni JAWO, nandoon lahat ang excitement! he can turn the dome upside down, only by his presence!...this is what i remember him saying to his team..."WHEN THE GOING GETS ROUGH...BE TOUGH!" (balyahan ulit!)....and it becomes my motto too. He will be a very good coach! Number 7 pa rin!....JAWORSKI..JAWORSKI! I can wear my JAWORSKI t-shirt again!
Jaworski was a very good player. A great entertainer.
There were better players in his heydays though and to keep on harping his greatness is uncalled for.
Let him rest on his laurels but let's give the younger generation a chance to show their wares whether as a player or a coach.
Happy Days are here again !!
It's JAWO ..... yesterday,
today &
tomorrow ....
No saan nga Ginebra ket saan laengen.
YES BALIK PBA ANG IDOL KO.. MAY BUHAY NANAMAN ANG PBA. PAG NAN DYAN ANG IDOL KO MASAYA NANAMAN SA PBA IBA TALAGA SI IDOL JAWO WILL NEVER FORGET...
OK GOOD LUCK.....
i dont think it would be any different if and when jawo comes back to the pba as a coach, though i am a ginebra fan ever since i never saw any difference when he left his coaching job, actually ginebra even became succesful under siot. lastly, i dont think he was really that successful as a coach compared when he was a player.
I hope the intensity of Coach Jawo in the court before will still remain once he returns in PBA.. Those technical fouls, taunting referees, boy i missed those days, then suddenly coins flying all over the court, how exciting...
Just a reminder to those three blind mice officials "pretending blind" in the court becareful and be watchful if ever you officiate the game involving the team of Coach Jawo..
You will never forgiven unlike what happened to tenorio in dying seconds game6, referee did not call a contact on that play..
Jawo's comeback will certainly bring back legions of fans in the PBA. Over the years, the PBA has somewhat lost its excitement and bringing back Jawo will be good for the gates and televiewers. As a coach however, I just hope Jawo will be able to adjust to new scientific techniques in strategies since over the years that we has gone, coaching has evolved a lot. Hindi na pwede yung basta run and gun ala ginebra style dati. What I would like to see in his return will be ONE FINAL GAME where Jawo will play and his jersey no. 7 will be retired at last. That will be really be cool!!!
