I have seen the fight. I thought Pacquaio injured his left hand after the first round, because I observed that after round one, Pacquiao seldom used his left hand.

I wish and pray that he knocks out Marquez this time. During their first fight in May 2004, I was at the upper ring side with my two sons and witnessed how Pacquiao knocked down Marquez thrice right on the first round, but was always hit by jabs and upper cuts by Marquez. In my opinion, what Manny need as what other noted American trainers such as Emmanuel Steward and Floyd Mayweather’s dad had observed is his “WEAK DEFENSE” ; his hands are not raised high to counter any oncoming jabs or blows. Another, is his not being an “ACCURATE PUNCHER” that most of his combinations are wild and were missing their targets because the way he delivers his combinations is as if “HE’S HITTING THE SPEEDBALL”. Another flaw that I noticed in his recent fight with Barrera, is that his right which he had been using in his last two fights with Erick Morales were nowhere used. I hope he use it this time in this upcoming fight with Marquez. Thank you very much.

I’m confident Manny Pacquiao will beat Juan Manuel Marquez. I’ve watched almost all of Manny’s fight and have analysed that He’s far better fighter than Marquez. In the 1st fight He knockdown Marquez 3 times. Marquez only salvage a draw becuase Manny was not able to attack due to pain on His foot. Now in Marquez last fight with Barrera He was not very impressive at all, I think Barerra should have won without that point deduction. While Manny beat Barerra in a
one sided fight twice. Also Marquez never
fought a fighter with the caliber of Eric Morales so my analysis points to Paquiao by knockout. I’ll put my money with Manny Paquiao (llamadong llamado).

I suggest to Manny that he should knockout Marquez in the early rounds so there will be no questions in the officiating if the bout is close to a draw because I’m sure the promoters will have a decision with regards to the outcome of the fight. So i suggest to Manny to give his best shot to finish the bout early as possible.

We Filipinos here in Sydney, Australia always watch the fight whenever Manny Pacquiao fights. The clubs were all full with fans cheering for our kababayan. Don’t worry Manny has improved a lot with His defence and right hand punching power. I’m sure He will knockout Marquez

Manny will beat the s**t out of Marquez. It was so clear in their first encounter that Manny should’ve won the bout but because of the (intentional?) mistake of one of the judges, who obviuosly was rooting for Marquez, it was declared a draw. Go Manny, show everybody that you are still the man to beat…

manny has work ethics. his so focused everytime he has a fight. hope he won’t be over confident ‘coz marquez is a good counter puncher. the “dinamita” will become a “dud” this time ‘coz he can’t match the explosiveness of the “people’s champ”. good luck manny!

If Manny will focus 110% of his mind for the fight, combined with a hardcore training and most of all, believing to himself that he can do it… then all things are possible! What I noticed in the first fight was that when, Pacquiao started backpedalling, Marquez counterpunched with confidence. Everytime, Paquiao go forward, Marquez move forward, scared of Manny’s straight left which knocked him down three times. If Paquiao just move forward and use his right hand more this time and minimize moving backward, he will surely win the fight. Of course all of this begin with him training religiously to gain his fighting condition the same as when he fought Morales the second time around or when when he fought Barrera the first time.

Manny, you’re a great honor for all of us Filipinos. Your every triumph is happiness for us. So. please be completely focused on your training for this fight. Marquez is a resilient fighter. The fact that Pacman injured his hand on their first bout, means that Marquez absorbed his punching power and yet, he was able to finish 12 rounds of boxing action.

Marquez’ fighting style, a counter puncher, is not suitable for Pacquiao.
