ARE you confident that Manny Pacquiao will defeat his old foe, Juan Marquez, the reigning World Boxing Council superfeatherweight champ?
Well, Pacman has assured Filipinos that he will do just that on March 15 when he and Marquez clash at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Here are two videos taken by INQUIRER.net multimedia reporter Erika Tapalla during the press conference at Crowne Plaza.

Manny, you’re a great honor for all of us Filipinos. Your every triumph is happiness for us. So. please be completely focused on your training for this fight. We will all pray for your continued success. May our Lord God bless you in all of your future fights. If you train yourself as hard as you can, nobody at 130 lbs could beat you now.

What I noticed in the first fight was that when, Pacquiao started backpedalling, Marquez counterpunched with confidence. Everytime, Paquiao go forward, Marquez move forward, scared of Manny’s straight left which knocked him down three times. If Paquiao just move forward and use his right hand more this time and minimize moving backward, he will surely win the fight. Of course all of this begin with him training religiously to gain his fighting condition the same as when he fought Morales the second time around or when when he fought Barrera the first time.

Definitely, it’s Pacman. Nobody in his division (130lbs.) can match his power. He can overpower even Hatton and Mayweather believe me. JMM will be in big trouble. JMM will be out in 6! Pacman should concentrate on his training, no more hunky punky, just stay focus! Good Luck!!!

If Manny will focus 110% of his mind for the fight, combined with a hardcore training and most of all, believing to himself that he can do it… then all things are possible! The only catch is… Marquez is doing the same thing… The bottom line is, whom ever draw the first blood Win! Manny P. for me all the way!

Wag lang ma-distract si Manny sa kanyang mga non-boxing activities at kung maging focus siya sa training at maging determinadong manalo, walang kaduda-duda i-uuwi nya ang belt.
