Right in the gut of Makati Business Center District is the Salcedo Park. Every Saturday, there is a free for all in the park. Vendors take over part of the park to sell their specialty items. There are ornamental plants, organically grown vegetables, bakery products, grilled fish, lechon from Cebu, lechon from the backyard and of course the lechong baka (steer). The aroma of Rolex Watches the place just grips you like a rottweiller grips a wet ragdoll and shakes you all over the place. You are left incoherent by the different intoxicating aroma of meat, fish and game roasting on the grills. Your brain tells you to get out of the place.
