So, is Gwapotel any good? Watch the video and judge for yourself.

gwapotel is the best! i tried checking in once and the staffs are friendly. ^^

Jerome

I have’nt use the facility yet, but my observation is….if you are featuring a service-oriented facility like this or a similar one, di ba dapat the one will tour you around the facility should be one from the “management staff” para ma-emphasize mismo ang bawat aspect ng facility, and outrightly if you have some querry about the facility, the management staff could give its outright answer. Like most promotions na napapanood natin like Spa’s; hotels etc.

Sorry, I don’t have against with the Lady Guard, but I think it is not proper.

Jerome

backpacker philippines

this is the “pinakamura” hotel in manila…

arenar

It’s pretty good, and very cheap. mdu malinis rin. kaya lang mamaintain kaya ito ng maayos in the years to come? hindi kaya ito mababoy katulad ng ibang govt facilities? baka mapasok din ito ng mga mandurugas diyan sa maynila?

aline

i agree with jerome about proper presentation of facilities. i was frustrated that the facilities were not very well shown as in close-ups and lingering shots on the beds, (beddings?), shower rooms, details, details..and since this is for everybody, dapat pati ung accommodation for males, was also shown, c/o a male host if needed.

but thanks for the info!

I am for BF to be the next President of the Philippines di siya madada na tulad ng iba pero wala naman ginagawa. He is a doer and not a grafter.

Patologi

bakit lady guard ang iniinterview? wala bang manager dyan. anu ba?

Benj

saan meron nyan?

ella

pambato

This is already being operated for more than a year now and it seems that it is still well maintained.

I saw this being featured in a tv show years before and it was conceptualized by the group of Ilac Diaz; one of our young entrepeneurs who is thinking of giving value for money to many juan dela cruz’es especially those OFWs that live in provinces that can’t afford to stay in hotels/motels while in transient.

I pray that there will be more of this kind of offerings in more places accross the country other than the one in Manila.

Jas

Why do you call it a hotel?Weird.

Regz

jojie

Haven’t been there yet, but mukhang ok. Saan ba banda iyan ? If i get off fr. Ali mall in Cubao (am fr. the visayas), how wud i get there ? Dis is one of the projects of the govt. that is really worth it. Thank u, BF ..i think this is a big help for us, probinsyanos who have to follow up some papers in Manila, but staying in pricey inns is out of our budget…Sana marami pang govt. officials na gaya ni BF who really pays attention to the needs of the masa..esp dos ho hav less in lyf…

lai

how come that “malaysian” gal interviewed has a suspiciously “philippine” accent??? i’m often in malaysia and that accent is so not malaysian.

SSyoki

I think its OK.

In response to Jerome’s comments, mas OK nga na yung guard yung nagbigay ng tour, at least sasabihin nya yung nakikita nya.

coach_pinoy

nice…very nice idea.. and I certainly hope it stays that way..I agree with Jerome.. someone from management should’ve been the one giving the tour - (no disrespect to the ’secu’)..anyways, I will try it this year and I’m sure I will be impressed by it…heck, 25 pesos!!! can’t go wrong with that… good job kabayans…

geri

Ayos yan ah! San ba location nyan at baka minsan eh bigla akong mapalayas sa amin eh jan muna makatuloy :D

bayani

oo nga! vote bayani fernando for brgy captain!!!

para_lahat

marie

this is a great offering by the government. hopefully they can maintain the cleanliness of the area as shown in the video. by the way, they say you can take a bath here via token daw? would you know who installed that for them. also their bunks look good. who supplied them this? i have a small pension house here in the province that i plan to open up maybe this year, baka pwede rin akong mag bunks :-). i hope i can get a reply from you guys. thanks.

hong kong tour

a very cheap place, but i havent tried it yet. sana ma maintain nilang malinis

Siouxsie

I’ve read people are harping about the tour being given by a guard — for pete’s sake people, for a P25 pesos per night, you want a person in coat and tie to give the tour? what is there to explain? it doesnt take a rocket scientist much less a common tao to figure out that is a cheap hotel, with the basics — clean and safe. that’s it. my gosh, if you want to be toured by an executive … watch living asia channel or discovery travel and living.

the most impr thing here, this is a brilliant idea and it benefits the masses without charging them exorbitant fees.

I’ll vote BF for president. Look at Marikina, progressive! We need someone who has an iron hand and committed to fix things even though he has to make very unpopular decisions like wiping away the eyesores of the streets.

Phuket Thailand

Finally I decide to post comment.

This is very useful

Thanks
