WHILE we Filipinos (and Asians in general) will only have a chance to get our hands on the iPhone next year, some have jumped into the bandwagon and bought themselves one.
One of them (as shown in photo) is Elbert Cuenca, now a personal Mac trainer and former executive of a local distributor of Apple products.
Apple executives that we have talked to, local mobile phone companies included, have been mum on the iPhone’s anticipated entry in the local market. So for now, we can only drool (that is if you worship the very earth Steve Jobs stands on), and wait for this product to come to our shores.
This may sound cheesy, but the iPhone will remain the Apple of our eyes, at least for now. Does that make any sense or am I just too darn corny ![]()

I waited and drool for 3 months visiting apple site for the launch of iPhone (now my dream toy) but when I read it will be available in the market outside USA by 2008 then all I can do is watch the video and continue drooling. :)~
The specs I love to have on a phone are:
- wireless connectivity i.e. Bluetooth and wifi
- Camera
- Touch screen
- User-friendly interface
- Mac and Windows compatible (Im a Mac lover)
- MP3 and movie player
- Large memory - 4GB is enough hehehe
