I'm glad I didn't invest in a zune though it was on my wish list. The zune bug story was a big episode and the numbers were becoming kind of spooky and the fact that after four years this problem will surface again if not tackled now itself even makes it more eerie but that's the work of rumors. I read in some reviews that users are still facing some problems brought by the bug. Zune is a great gadget and it would be sad to see doubts in the minds of people who are interested to buy one.

Another anonymous user reported of being affected by the bug and tried to charg e then drain its internal battery to no avail. User "Justin" feared that he might have ruined his 30 Gb Zune, which froze up d uring a reformatting process that he initiated after noticing the problem. Microsoft Philippines officials were unavailable for comment as of this writing .

I once had a DVD player that faced some software problems and I returned it. They replaced with a newer release edition one. This seems to me the most fair thing to do. If my gadget lacks nvidia drivers update and it`s still under warranty, I ask for a driver update. Every problem must have a solution, for sure.
