Palace announces holiday exemptions…
“The business process outsourcing (BPO) and electronics industries are not covered by the Palace’s proclamation of Monday as a non-working holiday,Malacañang said Saturday…”
it’s very unfair that all employees working in this kind of industry will be exempted on the said non-working holiday. and the only reason that they provide is that it’s a 24/7 nature. so what?! we’re also working for an 8hr shift just like other employees do. maybe they should try this work and they’ll know that it’s really a toxic one.

It appears Senator Mar Roxas has no real Party behind him. LP is indeed divided. And without any of the factions solid behind him, he broke his back trying to push alone. It seems to me lang, because behind the scene hindi natin alam ang mga pinaguusapan ng mga cliques dyan.
Anyway, people alone makes history. a product is good only when it is patronized by the people. Without people nobody goes anywhere.
Reviving the LP, making it a working nationwide Party, would have been a good start by him.
Habang hinahatak ito palabas ng hukay, araykupu inapakan pa yata. Mabuhay pa kaya iyan o matambakan na lang. Partido ng tatay ko iyan noong nabubuhay pa sya.

I personally doubt if Mar Roxas has any clout within the Liberal Party. That party is divided into factions and it looks as if Salonga, Drillon, Atienza, et al are calling the shots.
