Mayor Lobregat and Pinol strongly opposed the MOA because they would be affected directly. ( the coverage of the MOA is the area concentrated by Muslims-Lobregat and Pinol owned thousands hectares in the affected areas).

I really don’t understand why those MILF Hierarchy think that they are not under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Government laws. Of course, they can say that becase they are secesionist group, but it does not mean they can do anything they want that violates the Philippine laws and they remain unpunish. If they violate the law, they shall be held accountable for it.
If they don’t want to be under the rule of the Philippine laws then, the door is very much open for them to emigrate to another country and they are very much welcome to leave this country any time they want.
It is clearly understood that while all of them stay in the Philippine territory, they must obey the laws as an ordinary citizen of this country. Giving them autonomy that not mean they are not covered by the provisions of the Philippine laws. They should not consider themselves above the ordinary Filipinos to receive special treatment from the government.

Sometimes I found our justices funny; humor and wit are their lingo, of course the Supreme Court Justices, the final arbiter.
They are funny not on their knowledge of the law, not on their wisdom and intellect, not on know how and experience but on how they interpret the law by way of judgment and decisions.
The Supreme Court suspended this RTC judge for ignorance of the law….
Ignorance of the law? How could it happen? When a lawyer becomes a judge, he is selected and screened among the best practicing lawyers or those in practice in academics. They are the cream of the crop.
In short, his knowledge of the law thru years of practice is without question.
I don’t know how a judge is ignorant of the law while they are the law itself.
The Supreme Court fined and admonished this RTC for failing to resolve the case on time…. citing the provisions in deciding cases.
It is a disgrace and embarrasing that judges is being disciplined for failing to act on time.
How could a judge be at the mercy of complainant if the judge not acted his case on time?
Judges need time to decide cases. Judges need time think what law should apply.
It is not like fast food restaurant that you can have what you want by express but needs careful cooking.
Don’t treat judges like children who need guidance and assistance.
They know what they are doing.
A lawyer was suspended for trying to ask favor on the case pending on his court.
Was it not in the pleading/motions that a lawyer in the case whether a plaintiff or defendant praying for favorable judgment on his favor.
Every now and then, motions for reconsideration was filed in the Supreme Court, a temporary restraining, a habeas court petition and so and so forth.
The Supreme Court should not entertain by these voluminous and frivolous motions which should be decided in lower courts, it is abuse of privilege and knowledge.
The Supreme Court should say no. Follow the order.
Or else they might be charged of circumventing the law…. Funny indeed.
