To “Abdullah Maulana”
Now here we are, you have shown your true colors. That as a Muslim, you don’t recognize that the Philippine Government has the sovereign authority over the whole of Mindanao. You don’t consider yourself as a Filipino. May I ask you one thing, can you show any document stating that Mindanao is not part of the Philippine Territory? The entire United Nation Organization recognized this fact. The territorial boundary of the Republic of the Philippines is well defined.
What you’re saying is considered GARBAGE.

The Makati Police Chief is doing a lousy job by not identifying right away the concerned bodyguards of Usec. Villar who were involved in mauling incident in an hotel in Makati just recently. All he has to do is to ask Villar about that bodyguards during the time and date the incidence happened and Villar should give the names of those involved in mauling the guest. Whether the man has to press charges or not those bastards should be identified at once by the Police and Mr. Villar.
This is one of the reasons, GMA Administration is being given harsh criticisms because of these irresponsible persons as well as the concerned authorities. It is high time this kind of government attitude should be addressed accordingly.

Many people in Baguio City are shocked to read the article by Solita Collas-Monsod published on 30 August 2008 extolling the virtues of Judge Abraham Borreta. Don´t journalists reasearch there stories thoroughly anymore. Borreta has been involved in an unlicensed housing project in Longlong, La Trinidad, and is being sued in the Baguio Courts to get money paid returned. His involvement is well-documented in public documents, many of which can be seen on http://www.bbgmfi.wordpress.com. When will the Inquirer run an article on how a judge and a woman using a false alias name have obtained money from lot buyers for an unlicensed community mortgage housing project?

I remember reading some articles, stating the worst is yet to come… I guess it’s happening right now… Mindanao is now turned into a war zone again…
Due to the careless decisions, incorrect leaderships and greediness by the occupants from the palace… our poor and helpless countrymen in Mindanao are sufferings…
Innocent children’s, weak elderly folks, unemployed parents and even military rank in file are now in more vulnerable situation… but the politicians, government officials and military officers who plan and initiated this events were lavishly and luxuriously enjoying life on their mansions…
These inhumane decisions, activities and leaderships by the great leaders of every nation does not really care with the outcome or the effect of their actions on small people or the masses as a whole… their interest are mainly to take advantage and the profit of it…
War really, has no beneficial effect on every citizen… it is purely an action of devil and its associates… there are no winners with this kind of events. War victory over a hundreds, thousands or even millions of casualties does not really a triumph or success…
With our own war zone, it implicates and will put our country and citizens in more shame, disgrace and humiliating situations, particularly our Filipino professional abroad… it will downgrade more our already lowly downed character…
Our country is now belongs to third world nations with disgrace and dishonor records… number one corrupt nation in Asia, with war zone region just like Darfur, Sudan, Myanmar… Election fraud just like Zimbabwe… and the latest – poor performance at Biejing Olympic, which bring honors to our immediate neighboring country’s on the medal tally list…

I hate to say this, but the U-turn Slots are the perfect spots for a planned ambush or assassination plot. Those spots are where the vehicles move at turtle-like pace.
When a vehicle chance to arrive at an intersection with a green light, it just sails through without deceleration; but with U-turn slots, no such luck. Every vehicle that wants to get to the other side of a blocked intersection has to turn right and look for a u-turn slot; when approaching the u-turn slot, the vehicle has to slow down to almost dead stop and then execute the u-turn after shifting to low gears (both for manual and automatic transmission). After the u-turn, another right turn. This is how complicated it can be for just crossing an intersection.
With well-programmed traffic lights, all it takes is one policeman to man the intersection; sometimes, we don’t even need one. But if we look at EDSA-Taft and Buendia-Taft intersections now, those intersections have to have several enforcers controlling the traffic throughout the day. Some of those enforcers are there to issue traffic violation tickets and sometimes “collections”.
There is no ready-made traffic control system. Before a programmable traffic control system can be put to use effectively, preparations that have to be conducted include surveys, road improvements, counting of vehicular flow in all directions at different hours of the day and for every day of the year, including regular holidays.
The timings of traffic signals for each crossing are then programmed according to the data obtained from the surveys. The timings varies for different hours of the day, for different days of the week and even for different holidays of the year ( the traffic conditions on Lenten season and Christmas season are completely opposite ).
The job of traffic control is very complex and the system itself requires fine-tuning by experts and analysts based on scientifically obtained parameters. Once finalized, the master program cannot be altered and only temporary over-rides are permitted.
All these may seem too complicated and incomprehensible for a bayani striving hard to be the next President. He thinks that he does not need a traffic control system nor a political platform; an army of traffic enforcers with the assistance of self-aggrandizing posters, road blocks, pylons, grilles and fences are good enough to put him in a Pink Palace for a six-year term. After his term is over, let the next moron that steps in after him figure out this country’s future.
