I find it sad to hear that the Cainta police probers are still facing a blank wall on the identity of the suspect in the shooting of Tara Santileces in the head, which is the cause why she has been in coma for a long time now.
And what makes matters worse is that the Cainta police investigators have the temerity to claim that the victim was a member of the militant group League of Filipino Students (LFS). As if they are trying to blame the shooting in her being a member of the militant group LFS.
Anyway, that’s the trend nowadays. When the police are uninterested in the criminal case, they would try to find many excuses to twist the issue at hand. Rather than work for it, whijch is now the primary concern of the victim’s parents, in partnership with the VACC, the police are ignoring the calls for their action to set themselves free of responsibilities.
Perhaps, the police have forgotten that they are on their posts because of taxpayers’ money. If they cannot do their job, why don’t they just quit and plant camote somewhere else. While the PNP administration in Camp Crame is trying to rebuild the good image of the police, there are some uniformed personnel who can’t seem to understand the true purpose of being a police officer.

What kind of Opposition Senators do the Philippines had? Instead of concentrating their energies to make laws beneficial to the country, they are wasting their time to only criticize GMA (the Government). They are good only as fault finder and never to assist the Government on how to tackle the problems of peace and order in Mindanao in particular and the entire country in general.
Why do they don’t pass supplementary budget for purchase of the right kinds of arms and ammunitions and other modern weaponry to assist the AFP/PNP in eliminating the terrorists that are responsible for the kilings of innocent people.
These Opposition Senators are only burden and not partners of the Philippine Government in nation building. The next time arround, I know how to deal with this kinds of Senators that we have, particularly in the 2010 election.

Philippine Judiciary breaks the Book of Guinness as the most laggard?

Long and tedious litigation… that is the principle in court cases.
Dura lex sed lex… the law maybe harsh or hard but it still the law.
you made it after 4 years of law studies after a 4 years bachelor degree, 6 months review and 6 months nervous waiting… what is there to complain about.
The lady is blindfolded with weighing scale… she cannot just pinpoint who the winner and loser is… it needs justification , in short evidence for it will be a long hardships to loser.
Many judges have been suspended, fined, admonished for failing to act on time…that is justice for whiner and shame for the magistrate.
Though life is express like fast food int this age of info tech still….
Patience is a virtue.

As a Filipino, I can’t prevent myself from having an antagonistic feeling towards MILF in particular and Muslims in general because they always engaged themselves in killing inocent people. They even beheaded persons or the military personnel they ambushed in the pasts. I consider them Barbarians.

What a co-incidence that just recently, a bus bombing took place in Mindanao. I don’t pre-empt the investigation being done by the authorities but I have already in my mind on who are those responsible for this barbaric act. Your guess is as good as mine.
