Puno’s ‘war on terror’ speech

04/25/07

Posted under Feedback, Reynato Puno

VERY incisive, dear [Supreme Court Chief] Justice [Reynato Puno]. very clear, unequivocally clear.

The sooner the Americans get their noses out of the country with their anti-terrorism pretext, the better Filipinos’ lives will be. About time somebody in the higher echelons of government spoke out on this reality.

Fighting a supposedly terrorist threat away from US shores is a flimsy excuse for America’s pursuit of their brand of hegemony sponsored by their greedy corporations. The sooner they leave us alone, the better our lives will be. More power! Applause, applause, applause.

    Congressman Says:

Justice Puno must not point about war on terror but must logically observe how terror came. He must reveal all truth about HM, King Anthony S. Martin and he must reveal that all Government Agencies knew already truth about HM.

    Ongpin Says:

Chief Justice Rey Puno must be learned from himself that his boss, former Pres. Gloria Macapagal - Arroyo was been vindicated by US Pres. George W. Bush as Unexpected Visitor and visited unofficially; this embarrassment claimed by Ex-Pres. GMA must be a good reason for Justices of the Supreme Court to remove her officially as Assuming Head of State of the Philippine Islands. But why is it he’s averting his opinion into war on terror? How much is it?

Sir! I like your style. However, you commercialize our judiciary. Every motion we request from the court empties our pocket. Just yesterday, I was scolded by a an assistance prosecutor in Quezon City when I asked him why the delay of 3 months on my resolution. He said sarcastically, “Kulang pa yan.” And last week, I have to pay Php 10,000 to another assistance prosecutor which according to him, so that I will get a favorable decision. Money is not the solution. Sir, kung tamad ang empleyado, kahit na ilang million peso ang sweldo, tamad parin. I have an expieience, again in Q. C. wherein it took 12 years for a simple case of B.P. 22. The first judge retired, the second judge was later on promoted, and the third judge died. I have also a case, again, B. P. 22, and it took nine years, until the judge retired without giving me the apportunity to testify. Imagine, nine years! In the end, my record in the court got lost, and my original copy also faded out because of long delay. Up to the present, nothing has change except that we are charge an exorbitant fee. My internet site is http://WWW.samontehe@yahoo.com. Mayaman na sir ang korte sa pera, kaya lang sa serbysio, ganoon parin. Suplado pa ang karamihan ng mga ass. prosecutor. Akala mo, sila lang ang may talino. Yan ba ang public servant?

Kudos to the Chief Justice of the Republic of the Philippines!!! Maybe he have the time to read the book “Final Warning-Averting Disaster in the New Age”.

And to the opinion of Ex-Justice Isagani Cruz Re: Resignation as a way out. I was with the Judiciary for 5 years (Sandiganbayan) I tried to fight Drug-addiction, in so doing what I get was Oppression/pressures from the Chief Sheriff who is my Immediate Superior Officer. To avert violent confrontation with his minions/lackeys who are his distant relatives under his supervision in the Security and Sheriff Services I was Forced to tender my Irrevocable resignation on my 43rd Birthday last September 23, 2004. Up to now I am facing bleak christmas for the last 4 years. At present, my siblings withdrew their financial support, moral support for me to continue the string of cases against the shenanigans, scoundrels and scalawags of the anti-graft court. Will I resign to my fate of running away from the legal fight, which is the course I choose because I am Civilized?
