I WAS amazed and happy to read that an executive of a company would [lend a] hand and bring back one man’s life in that busy place.
God bless him and his family. Mabuhay po kayo… Thanks to Inquirer for bringing this story [to the attention of the] public.

my hats off to Mr. Lafferty. may his tribe increase….
I remember many years ago seeing this picture on a newspaper of a man accidentally setting himself on fire in Taft Ave and everybody horrifiedly looking on while this caucasian man, a student I think, was running towards the burning man on the ground while taking off his shirt which he then used to smother the flames.

Hwow! What an amazing story! Nakakabilib, at nakakataba ng puso. A total stranger, tinulangan ni Lafferty si Silva na hindi nag-dadalawang isip. Galing! And, president pa sya ng Procter and Gamble Philippines.
Napakahalaga din ng kaalaman sa First Aid. Kahit CPR lang. Dapat itinuturo talaga ito sa paaralan, ung actual demo ha, hindi ung puro picture lang. Imagine how many lives could’ve been saved kung mas marami ang nakakaalam ng CPR.

God is good! All the time!
Few person with a good heart, either rich or poor as long as have a good character, like the President of P&G Philippines. I salute him of his bravery for saving old man’s life. Long live to you and to your family!!!!
