Does the good Senator Gordon knows that Malacanang is preventing the ’somebody else’ to back up the witness Doble by not allowing those other witnesses to attend the senate hearing? Is Gordon willing to prod the palace to let the witnesses subpoenaed by the senate to come to the senate hearing so that Doble would not be considered ‘finished’ by the good senator? Or, does he want Doble to be really ‘finished’ for his own (Gordon’s) dubious personal and political reason?

The simply problem is, why Malacanang works so hard to block any investigation if anyway there s nothing to hide. This gagging implicates that in reality there is a lot to hide or Malacanang would not even care who is invited and who want to go to the hearing. Where is nothing wrong to hide, there is nothing to fear, it’s so simple.

The funny thing here is, the administration is still trying to hide something (while they whistle nonchalantly as though nothing happened) yet nearly all Filipinos already know what is in the tape. Hypocrites.

Right now it’s not much as they want to hide something, it is more of the fear of the consequences of what would happen to them who gained power through fraudulent and corrupt means.

What dismayed me most is Gordon himself. Once considered as one of the more decent official in government, now he drilled himself a hole in the ground and allowed himself to wallow in the muck just to serve as an apologist for this morally bereft Executive Branch and lowered himself to the level of the magkaKAMPI in Congress. Such as great shame.

The Senate reopening of the “Hello Garci” controversy is a waste of precious time and taxpayers money since it is a recycled issue and wiretapping is illegal. Moreover, Mr. Doble as a witness is full of contradictions. As Senators, your main task is to legislate laws for the benefit of the Filipino people and not conducting investigations in “aid of 2010″.

Senator Biazon also said that Doble’s testimony should be corroborated by other witness. Otherwise, the testimony of Doble at its face value is not legally strong. Yet, it already done a big damage to the Arroyo administration. Politically, Senator Lacson has done his homework and done it well. He always make sure to be on the limelight until next election, for pretty obvious reasons. People know that there was indeed cheating last 2004 election, but it also happened during this year’s election. We must change the electoral system. People will support any legal ways to remove Gloria out of office. If indeed evidences are strong and witnesses are credible. Also, a strong backings and support from the private legal practicioners is a must. Otherwise, it will end up nothing.

Gordon -together with Meriam - is merely trying all his best to protect the bogus president in Malacanang. I will never vote for Gordon or Meriam in whatever position he is going to run for in the future. GORDON AND MERIAM are shameless protectors of the BOGUS PRESIDENT in Malacanang.

There is presumption of guilty already involving the garci tape when it has yet to be examined and revealed whether or not it was gloria macapagal; secondly, if indeed she was, then the next thing to do is to listen to their conversation to determine if there are any crime committed. If there is none to hear asking garci to rig the election, then, this is a matter of immorals and lapes of judgment, other than that, no crime committed by president gloria arroyo macapagal. Remember, immoral is not illegal, thus no legal crime exist.

Mrs Arroyo should be thankful for this ongoing investigtion because this is her last chance to clear her name, she should read the writings on the wall while her back is not againts it.[ that's if she has nothing to hide ]

The senators are supposed to extract the truth about the Hello Garci inquiry. However, the line of questioning of administration senators trying to discredit Mr. Doble, which are only common in any judicial proceedings, is one way of avoiding the real issue which is the “truth”. What is the relevance of having other affairs got to do with the safety of Doble’s family and the wire tapping. Administration senators should prove to us that they also want the truth and not otherwise. Also, some of the revelation of Mr. Doble has already been corroborated by Bishop Villegas e.g. the name “Medy”. It is very mind boggling why this senators are trying to cover or prevent the truth from coming out, especially those senators who are known to be indepedent minded and intelligent.

Not allowing those people to attend the Senate hearing? Well, What can I say? Guilty. Very Clear.

There is Doble which is shielded from corraborating witnesses by a gag order, there is young de Venezia who includes Mike Arroyo into the NBN scam and before Mike Arroyo could be invited or summoned to a hearing, he took a flight to Spain. Years ago, there was that case about 50 millions and immediately FG became sick on diskus hernia and went to US. Just 2 days later he was reported as playing golf. If there are such super doctors in UA, no wonder that near all the rich and powerful Filipinos bypass the “abundant excellent doctors” in RP, but this is not really a propaganda for creating health tourism, bringing in foreign patients while the local patients prefer to go abroad and pay much more, maybe just for fun because they have too much money.

The wire tapped conversation between Gloria and Garcia are inadmissable as evidence. Doble is a rogue and a liar, which makes his testimony suspect. If you guys really want to nail Gloria, you have to do better than hurl cheapshots at Gordon and Miriam.

If Doble is just lying, why then GMA made an public apology and why Bunye showed “a real and a fake” CD?
And especially, if the wiretapping was illegal, secrtetly done by Doble or Ong, how Bunye has been able to produce so fast an “original” CD, from where he got that?
But if the wiretapping has been conducted by AFP and Doble has been assigned to it, then he did not violate any law since he had to follow the orders.
The funny thing is, that Bunye has been showing wiretapping CDs, Gloria admitted her voice by apologising and now military, police and even the telephone giants want to say that they are not even able and equipped for wiretpping.
Very stupid, because telephone calls can be scanned with very simple, easy available scanners, handy calls can be monitored at the tel-cos and Intelligence Services, like the US staions around the world can scan and monitor practically any communication worldwide.
Normal calls, like eMails too, are like messages at open papers, nothing is secret. Why then a military Intelligence Service should be unable to wiretapping? The only question is why and who ordered it for which reason.
