AFTER spending hundreds of millions for the Joseph Estrada case and after he has been proven guilty of plunder, he is going to walk a free man again soon.
As a political scientist and a student of law, I say our justice system is the worst in the world if he is to become a free man despite the seriousness of the crimes committed by that old man.
Our sentiments for him do not matter. Yes, he deserves pity somehow. However, he does not deserve to be a free man at all.
Justice shall be served. Justice shall prevail.

If former President Erap is really guilty of plunder, then the rest of the presidents men who were involved with plunder jueteng activitie should be also prosecuted, here are the list, demonstrably corrupt governor chavit singson, Jaime Dichaves,Atong Ang, because these are the actual owners of these accounts, why then only the Head of corruption gangs be convicted? when most of those men who were involved has gone scott free and continue to make millions out of being free of those activities because of impunity that was rendered by the sitting president. The previous number one problem originally was Jueteng and yet president ERaps intention was to get rid of Jueteng and created Belle Resources company and mostly uses GSIS and SSS funds that was never recovered in the first place, those stocks would have trippled its value if it was not intensionally destroyed and most of the beneficiaries are the GSIS and SSS members where the pension funds will increase, They should be the rightful owners of President ERaps one billion amount of money and he should not keep the 200 muslim funds and the jaime dichaves accounts but return to the GSIS and SSS members life myself for retirement purposes.

it is indeed a mockery of justice…this is bs. using unity and national reconciliation as reason for pardon? but what about justice? isn’t it the purpose why erap was prosecuted?
if this happens, the right question will not be who’s next? but, what for?

If you ask me, a lifetime detention in his rest house is fair enough. During this time he could reflect on the wrongdoings he did during his life. But pardon? nah! Our justice system’s integrity is at stake. GMA should think twice before granting this.

Why the government keep sending Mr Puno to discuss pardon with Mr Estrada? It is kind of stupid on the government part to offer something that is not officially requested especially when there’s a serious legal matter is involved…..Can someone tell the government to “Back off” and let the justice system works.

JINGOY AND ERAP MUST SUFFER!!
THEIR GRAND OLD DAYS ARE OVER. ERAP AND HIS COMRADES IN CRIME MUST SUFFER IN JAIL (INCLUDING HIS ACTOR SON JINGOY). THEY SHOULD BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE STUPIDITY AND FOOLISHNESS THEY COMMITTED.
JINGOY WAS SO HAPPY THAT HE WAS ACQUITED BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOWS HIS STUPIDITY.
