THIS is a lame excuse.
First, the LPP (League of Provinces of the Philippines) does not have a resolution granting P500, 000 each to Pampanga and Bulacan governors. Second, LPP is hard up on funds. How can it prioritize giving to Pampanga and Bulacan, both rich provinces. This is stupidity. Third, how could you give away P500, 000 of the people’s money without receipts? This is irresponsible.
The LPP [members] say they were able to meet only yesterday since their national president just came back from abroad. How could the LPP have distributed the money two weeks ago without their president, which according to their constitution, is the final approving authority for the release of any fund?
Governor Panlilio immediately reported the issue to the media after receiving the money. Was the LPP president already out of the country?
I think this matter really should be pursued until the truth comes out. The people are tired of all the lies.

accdg. to tulfo’s source, the cash gifts were puno’s idea. one can only surmise why he did this…can be traced to buying of loyalty. in order to perpetuate oneself in power, politicians do the next best thing known to them…vote-buying. past presidents denied doing it while in office but they did not deny doing it during elections. the cash gifts in malacanang is nothing new. it was just given at the wrong time and place, kaya nabuking.
remember during erap’s impeachment, news about multi-million payoffs circulated? its the same banana.
what else is new? now we hear news of the need to change leaders. w/ the same system in place, and same trapos, we will suffer the same fate….think of another way out.

Another cover-up this time in collusion with the LPP members. Di na nahiyang pagtakpan ang suhulan. Macacapal talaga.

Governor PANLILIO and Senator TRILLANES for President and Vice President in 2010. This is the right tandem to start a moral revolution.
Gov. Panlilio won without a well-oiled political machinery. He and Sen. Trillanes will also make it in 2010 without a well-oiled political machinery.
