EDSA II was a mistake. What guarantee there is that Puno or anyone else will not be like or worse than this one?
Correcting it with another will not make it right anytime. Even if they succeed in their plans, there is an election in 2010. Patience would be a virtue instead of haste.
Is governance now part of the bishops’ temporal responsibility? Look at the wholesale moral decay we are in now — is morality not their major temporal responsibility? They failed miserably yet they want to take more responsibility. Their effort will be more productive if they work hard at uplifting the moral standards of those who are coming after this morally bankrupt generation.
Unless they are planning to run for public office, grandstanding is not the way to go but to lead in humility as exemplified by Jesus.

I beg to disagree….Edsa Dos was not all a mistake…The good thing was we we were able to let Erap to step down but the person we put to power was now a mistake…Who would have thought that she will eventually betray our trust…I agree with the Bishop to let GMA resign and put an interim Pres. until we elect a new president…let’s not wait until 2010 for this to happened. GMA might think of something to extend her term again.
Come to think of it…after six years of court battle..those witnesses who’s life was at stake just like Chavit Singson etc…after the judgment by SandiganBayan that Erap was guilty of plunder…then pardon????kaya pala hindi sya dinala sa jail kundi sa kanyang magandang resthouse uli..may bagong tactic si GMA…conspiracy???

Hindi nakapagtataka kung ano man ang mga gigawa o sinasabi ng mga bishop (in small letter coz it is not proper noun) since the history begun time immemorial, thay already fooling our people( They said they introduce christiany but in reallity it is catholism, they were the one who lord over our nation, from govt. to military. Ngayon hindi na sila pinapansin dahil nakokornihan na yata sa dapat na talagang trabaho sa kanilang itinalaga ng Diyos. Bumabalik naman tayo sa nakaraanm ( Qoute, Those who do not know there history, will repaet itself. Maging sa Bibliya naka guhit na sila upang magin tuta o makiki ayon o gusto maging taga pamalakad ng gobyerno. Blind leaders like them will always have bling followers. unsolicited advise for bishop kuno, gawin nyo lang ang trabaho base sa sinasabi sa salita nang Diyos walang maliligaw. Wag puro photo opt or media blitz. Maraming na kayong alam sa salita nang Diyos . What the people needs is your valuable deeds. Not valuable donation from Pagcor and other pwede nyong kunang may salaping mga corrupt na tao.

My god! hindi na nadala ang mga iyon. Hindi ba they’re the one install Gloria Arroyo, Into her stolen power now they’re kicken her out only because the bugos President of cebu let Erap out from jail. Which is overdue. Gloria Arroyo, The one should be in jail because there is solid evidence against her, For being corrupted.

i totally agree that another edsa is not the solution. replacing a mistake w/ another mistake is disastrous.
i am appalled too by the politics of these bishops. have they got nothing else to do in their parishes? why don’t they police their own ranks w/c is being hounded by scandals? they should examine why so many politicians are morally bankrupt. that is their sole responsibility, not appearing on tv and grandstanding at every chance they get.
is politics one of their vows now? even the late pope john paul II admonished them to stay apolitical.
let us be patient….
let our love for our country be much more than our hate for gma!!!
