A SUPPOSEDLY good corporate citizen like Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) was unlikely to do anything that would be a great disservice
to the country. But ALI showed what is under its hood by paying its own so-called experts to contradict the findings of the PNP and volunteer experts from the Australian Federal Police and Israel.
ALI should have picked the proper time and forum to bring its experts out from the closet. As it was, ALI frittered away the fine corporate image it nurtured over many years. It took a foreign dignitary, US Ambassador
Kristie Kenney, to remind everybody, including ALI, that those saying otherwise should realize what a terror attack in Metro Manila would
mean to the country as a whole.
ALI must rethink its hidden suggestion that terrorists or political agitators were behind the Glorietta 2 explosion. The ploy — obviously an advance defense for possible charges of gross negligence resulting in deaths and injuries to persons — is a public relations disaster.

What “proper time”? It has been the PNP which reported the finding of RDX which is part of the military C4 explosive. They even said they are now checking if it is the military or the mining type of C4.
The moment it started to become critical for the military, there was no more RDX. Has now been the PNP laboratory that thumb and unable to find RDX where is none?? It is very clear that PNP and military know best about something which is used only by them.
Why at that time ALI should have hired additional experts? This time came when there was no given explanation why the first results of the investigation have been turned down by those who reported the results, without explanation how RDX could be found if there is none.
That the foreign investigators did not find it anymore is easy to understand, they had to check what local investigators had thrown and turned already-
As explained already, Methane out of waste wiull not be created so fast, the more as permanently fresh waste and water is added. And LPG acts more like a liqid, being heavier than air and therefore can not easycreate a mixture which is explosive, otherwise it would ratrher burn than explode. In addition, it is hard to believe that none of the tenants that use the tanks has been inspecting or changing the tanks for a longer time. If a closed room is filled with LPG, it has not oxygen enough for to explode, If the room is not complete closed, LPG will flow outlike water to the whole underground area and an explosion would not have been so concentrated at one area.
That has to be cleared, since the official investigation just sticks on gas, contrary to its own first findings.

Yes, Armando, I’m sure you agree with the US expert’s opinion, as articulated by the US ambassador, that the Glorietta blast was caused by an accident because it will be bad for the Philippines if caused by a terrorist’s bomb. Since a terrorist bomb is bad for the country, and no witness testified of the presence of stench (methane from biogas smells of rotten eggs) before the blast, I’m sure an odorless foul odor was the cause of the blast.

Mr. Batara,
Your so called PNP findings that were corroborated by foreign experts has not even released its report to be given to everyone and yet the government’s media blitz has them parading on broadsheets TV even tabloid’s that the cause of the blast was accidental insinuating negligence and presenting visuals on equipment that was not even in use during that time when the blast occured.
It is but natural that Ayala gets a second opinion given the image of PNP. An image that is bereft of credibility given the its penchant for planting evidence and rigging investigations. Just look at history and anyone can see that there is a whole lot more credibility in Ayala’s statements compared to the PNP’s obvious attempt to please Malacanang.
No one has even reached the basement area up to this point where the blast was supposed to have originated, so how can the PNP release sound bites to the press at the expense of Ayala’s corporate image.
All they are doing is conditioning the minds of the public. Ayala has the right to present its findings to the press providing reports that were given to everyone even the PNP. Unlike the PNP who just waved around theire so called findings in a press conference. They did not even give a report yet and people like you are already rendering judgement.
It is sad that even Ayala doesn’t have complete access to the site. As the PNP has cordoned it off beyond the reach of Ayala’s independent experts. For all we know the police has already planted evidence to support their claims. What is the police hiding?
So Mr. Batara you are sadly mistaken to think that Ayala is only after its image. It is after the truth. Nothing else.
It is also worth noting that this Australian, American and Israeli experts have stated anything to the press and have not been able to enter the basement area to verify the source of the explosion. They were just outside doing their tests. Up to now the basement is impassable. All you have is the PNP saying that they corroborated the findings of a report that has not even been released! That gas theory is nothing more than gas. The PNP is acting typically like itself. All hot air and no substance whatsover.

it’s a pathetic sight with rambotito binay joining the fray. don’t they realize what will it give to the country?
nagmumukha tuloy ang ALI na sila mismo ang nagko-cover up sa mali nila na hindi pa naman napapatunayan… binay’s actions supporting ALI’s statements smells of politicking again.
binay’s actions speaks of defense mechanism. he doesn’t want to be blamed of negligence on his part. napapabayaan na kasi ang ibang duty niya sa sobrang pamumulitika… pweH!
I detest gloria and his ilks to the bone, but with too much politicking around, napapabayaan na ang mga pobreng mamamayan.

The bomb exposion at G2 should served as a warning to all the danger in our society nowadays. Why all the lies !!! Experts should immediately know the reason of the explosion by just one glance.People are not crazy to believed its a gas explosion alone. We are not idiots.Filipinos should wake up and end this culture of lies and deceptions.
