Its hard to believe this idiot say something like that. Is he really a lawyer? If so! I’m not surprise for saying something like that because he is Gloria Arroyo, Attack dog! Mga walang mudo. They did the same thing to Fernando Poe, Jr.

I’ve searched high and low for an appropriate adjective or a phrase for Apostol and the most best I can come up with is “IDIOT”, actually he acts and talks like the “VILLAGE IDIOT”…nuff said..

I do not wish to be a ‘bringer of lost hope’ but apparently everyone only sees one side of the favorite Sergio Apostol. The first time I saw him was in college and that was during the impeachment trial. He may have had one of the best lawyer credentials among the congressmen during that time but in the impeachment trial, it was obvious that he was the laughing stock of the block of prosecutors. And now that you made it public that he was a bar topnotcher, it elevates things to a whole new level(if you know what I mean).

Now obviously you’ve only heard good things about him. Good people do not change to bad ones overnight or in the span of a few years. It is always a battle inside each one of us of which we want to prevail, good or bad. Obviously Mr. Apostol couldn’t have been a good man and got tired of being one and started doing baaaad things. Let’s be realistic. The racist lines that came out of his mouth are those that do not come from literate, good models of society. But based on the impeachment trial, if those lines came out from a mouth of someone in Malacanang, I knew 1,000,000% it could have come from only one person, Mr. Apostol.

So why is Mr. Apostol there? Backtracking to where it all began, Mrs. Arroyo owes a lot to Mr. Apostol. Where? In the impeachment trial of course, which then lead to the being of our “Ma’am President”. And what did Ma’am president do to repay this? Well, she installed Mr. Apostol as President of PNOC wherein he took the pays of 2 positions. I think it was as President and CEO of PNOC and PNOC-EDC or something close to it. Now why would Mr. Apostol do that? Isn’t that double compensation? Let him answer, he’s the lawyer. He must know a law that contradicts that other law or maybe to rebut such claims, he could just say something again about deporting filipino-chinese cry babies or a simple “bkshskkdhfggeig” like during the impeachment. During his stint as president of PNOC-EDC, you can ask all the employees in fort bonifacio what happened so you’ll get first hand information.

Another reason why Mr. Apostol got to be a bit more powerful every day is his knowledge of Mr. Jose Pidal. During his stint as president of PNOC-EDC, he had a few extra earnings that he shared with Mr. Pidal. He used this to run for governor in his own province but unfortunately(or should it be ‘fortunately’), he lost. And the long road leads to his current post in Malacañang.

So, as you can see he is not as good as you think he is. There may be some left inside but it is definitely supressed by the evil that has grown in him and the evil that surrounds him. It doesn’t take a telepath to read that his character isn’t what he wants us to believe. He’s a TRAPO. And he thinks that he is better than everyone, whether we are Filipino-Chinese, Filipino-American, Filipino-Others, or pure Filipino.

I am not for a change in government or a change in the persons in the government. Although I have to admit that every change in our elected officials gives a glimmer of hope that maybe our country can be great again. But alas, they’re only good at the start and then later on follow the footsteps of their predecessors… and then get themselves rich and leave us out of the picture. At the end of the Ramos regime, we thought Estrada would be the light that would lead to new heights. But things turned out different. When Mrs. Arroyo came to power, we thought the nation’s eyes have been opened to where we should be going, and yet where are we?

It takes a lot to change and lead our country, but it is possible. How? A lot of good political will and a lot of moral change. When will that happen? I guess we just need to teach our kids right. That’s the best start.

I love my country and I know my country loves me. Filipinos are great and I hope we can have great unselfish leaders to take the lead in making the country we love so much great again.

being a high govt official and as a brilliant lawyer, i assume mr. apostol has been knowledgeable of philippine history more than many of us.

as a people, we were not referred to as “filipino” before the spanish colonizers came. in fact, the colonizers had a derogatory term to refer to our ancestors. as a result of the struggle of ancestors for independence and nationhood, we came to be known as “filipino” to refer to us, people of the philippines. the filipino people is a mixture of malay, chinese, and spanish races.

maybe mr. apostol forgot that many of those who unselfishly joined the revolution were people with chinese origins. they were instrumental in creating the filipino nationhood from the very beginning.

i am afraid mr. apostol had no opportunity to learn that our very own national hero, jose rizal, also has chinese roots. in fact, a monument of rizal was built in fujian, china in his honor.

what the filipino nation need are public officals who are morally upright and who will serve the welfare of the filipino nation, regardless of ethnic origin.

The son of the President is only pointing one finger to the former speaker…I just do not know how many fingers were pointed on himself???? I also believe on the ideals of Mr. Apostol as a Statesman, but, that admiration have eroded when he blatantly commented Jun Lozada on national TV. I truly believe now, that “when money talks even the wisest man listens (bar topnotcher so to speak).
2. Lies - we often say “the truth shall set us free”, which is in contrast to the culture of the present administration. I only hope the Government officials who were invited last Monday’s hearing still have the face and the courage to enter the confessional box to seek redemption. Shall I say, “Government of LIARS”…….
3. Abuse of authority, constitution, law, power, order, et al. - where is the honor and integrity of these officials? They’re making the Filipino people ignorant and innocent. No wonder why the government cannot protect the OFW in any form of abuse they are into. I hope the “power of Karma” knocks on their doors especially in Malacanang.

Allow me to share with you my stand on the posturing of the opposition and former Speaker Jose de Venecia on the Lozada exposé and other issues. In a way, I am bothered by their hypocrisy, by their anti-graft and corruption advocacy that seems to single out the First Gentleman and Malacañang’s favorite government officials. And didn’t JDV, the longest-serving House speaker and master of pork-barrel politics, shudder when he called for a moral revolution?
Let me set my premise: If one is against graft and corruption, then it must be all the way and non-selective. If one says that this is wrong and immoral, then one must be consistent with this stand, regardless of whoever will be made to pay.

Today, we hear political personalities attacking the government because of massive graft and corruption. I think any decent Filipino should abhor and criticize any corrupt government, and if found guilty by the proper forum, the culprits should be sent to jail. I don’t take hook, line and sinker whatever the opposition says in attacking the government. I believe some oppositionists are hypocrites who lie through their teeth.

Why do I say this mouthful against some opposition personalities? They are no different from the people in the administration who are allegedly committing graft and corruption. Look at Senators Alan Cayetano, Jinggoy Estrada, Nene Pimentel, Chiz Escudero, Manny Villar, Jamby Madrigal and others. They criticize the Arroyo administration as corrupt, but whom do they revere as their leader? Do they believe Joseph Estrada, the pardoned plunderer, was just wrongfully convicted? What moral ascendancy do they have to advocate against corruption when they are all minions of a corrupt political leader?

And look at JDV. After he was booted out of the House speakership, he attacked the government for corrupt practices, called for a moral revolution, and had dinner with Estrada.

The posturing of all these political fakes is merely for public consumption, an attempt to take decent Filipinos for a ride. All of these people suffer from selective amnesia. A true statesman is one who is consistent with his principle, regardless of the consequences and the personalities involved. If I were to campaign against graft and corruption, I would never go near Estrada’s group.

I am writing this because I pity many Filipinos who have no idea they’re being gypped by opportunists who pretend to be moral crusaders. We must all see through their facades. If these people exercise selective amnesia, then, when they become players in Malacañang, believe me, we will still have problems with graft and corruption. New players, same rules. Nothing will change in our government except the faces.

I guess the people have noticed it already and that is the reason the idea of another People Power has never prospered. It’s not that people don’t want to change this graft-ridden government; it’s because they fear that under the present political spectrum, led by the opposition, they could not expect real reforms. People fear the present administration will just be replaced by something similar to Erap’s rotten rule (characterized by gross immorality, graft and corruption, smuggling, nepotism, political power play, midnight cabinet, etc.).

I might be criticized for not trusting the Filipino people. Some people argue that if we had another People Power, we could install someone or something (a council) that would be above the fray, a statesman or a group of statesmen to lead our people to a new beginning. These dreamers should snap out of it. Do they think the opposition would allow anyone to grab power from them? Pro-Estrada oppositionists would insist that they were responsible for bringing down the Arroyo administration so that they should have the right to take over.

What I want is for Filipinos to work hard, to realize their previous mistakes, and from there strive for a clean government that truly represents the interests of the people. Let the people be responsible for their future, and come 2010, with better discernment, they may elect a true statesman and a true representative of the people who is honest, effective, competent, qualified and God-fearing. In an election, the people will have a say as to who shall lead our country, whereas in People Power the political, economic and military elite would decide for the rest.

I look at the 2010 presidential election as the Filipinos’ last chance to choose an effective and morally strong president before it’s too late. If we bungle this chance again, I’m afraid there may be no more elections and anarchy will reign on the streets and in the hearts of disillusioned people. Massive poverty and the desperation it brings are potent ingredients for chaos.

valerie: get-out of being part of the silent majority….LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! do your share in making our only country much better-off for our children, let’s help in cleaning the systematic corruption in the government…

rocked our country, the ZTE Broadband Scam wherein former COMELEC chairman
Benjamin Abalos with the apparent blessings of the First Gentleman, Mike
Arroyo was said to have asked for a commission of US$ 130 Million or a
whopping 6 Billion Pesos in exhange for his influencing our government’s
decision to award the broadband deal to ZTE, a Chinese Telecommunications
Company. To make this happen, the ZTE Broadband Contract was greatly
overpriced at US$ 329 Million and worse, the government to be able to make
this deal push through would have to loan this amount from the Chinese
government. In short, the US$ 130 Million kickback of Abalos and his cohorts
will have to be paid for by our tax money.

To make things even worse, the govenrment tried its darn best to cover this
deal by pressuring Joey De Venecia, the first star witness to stop talking
abouit this in the Senate and in public, Joey didn’t want to cover up the
truth thus, Malacañang led by the congressman sons of President GMA led a
revolt at Congress which ousted Joey’s dad, then Speaker Jose De
Venecia. The next star witness whose courage we so admire, Jun Lozada
initially didn’t want to go to the Senate and take part in their
investigation because as he said, if he ends up in the Senate, he will be
forced to say the Truth. Again, our government tried every trick to ensure
that Lozada wouldn’t be able to testify in the Senate, leading to his
alleged kidnapping as soon as he arrived from Hong Kong where he hid for a
few days. Two men picked up Lozada as soon as he got out of the plane and
brought him around Metro Manila and even to Laguna against his will. If that
can happen to Jun Lozada, that can happen to every Filipino in this country.
In Jun Lozada’s words, when he was picked up against his will, he already
thought about the late Bobby Dacer who at the height of the Erap
impeachment was also picked up by unidentified men and after weeks of
looking for him, they finally found his body along with the body of his
driver.

I can go on and on about this but the point is, this government has
continued to steal our people’s money from under our nose and they continue
doing this because they know they can get away with it. Just look at the
many scandals that have rocked the administration of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
which we already have no idea what happened like the 1 Billion Peso
Fertilizer Scam and the Hello Garci Scandal. As Jun Lozada further said in
his testimony at the Senate, the Standard Operating Procedure in our country
now is that every government contract is overpriced by 20%, the 20% goes to
the pockets of our government leaders who helped in pushing the deal. This
is indeed very disappointing since 6 Billion Pesos can help build so many
classrooms for our public school students, it can provide so many college
scholarships to deserving students, it can help build public hospitals so
people can receive proper health care and it can provide adequate housing to
thousands of families. But in this case, 6 Billion Pesos will just end up in
the pockets of one or maybe a few families and worse, we will all have to
pay for their greed.

Nakakainis at Nakakagalit ang nangyayari sa ZTE Deal na to, harap harapan na
tayong ginagago ng gobyerno natin and as one of my students in class said,
he wouldn’t be surprised if another scandal comes out within the next few
months… it seems that Malacañang is already so used to scandals because
they know they will eventually get away with it once media and the public
grow tired of hearing about these scandals. Pero para sa akin, mas
nakakalungkot na parang walang pakialam at walang ginagawa ang karamihan sa
kabataang Pilipino sa mga nangyayaring ito, it seems that the Filipino Youth
which led the charge in EDSA 2 is nowhere to be found. Could it be that the
Filipino Youth has given up all Hope for making this country great again?
Could it be the Filipino Youth has given up in its fight for a clean and
effective government? Has the youth given up on our future? I hope I am
wrong because what is at stake here is not just my future or the future of
the poor, it is our shared future that we have to continue to fight for.
Ayaw ba natin na dumating ang araw na bawat Pilipino pwede nang magkaroon ng
kalidad na edukasyon? Ayaw ba natin na dumating ang araw na hindi na natin
kailangang mag abroad at mahiwalay sa pamilya para magakaroon ng magandang
trabaho? If we can all work together and join forces, we can show this
administration that we will not just sit idly while they continue to corrupt
and destroy our future, remember that in 2010 the Filipino Youth will be
able to elect the next President of our country. *Let us not wait till then
to make a change, let us act now, our country needs US Now! *

is indeed very disappointing since 6 Billion Pesos can help build so many
classrooms for our public school students, it can provide so many college
scholarships to deserving students, it can help build public hospitals so
people can receive proper health care and it can provide adequate housing to
thousands of families. But in this case, 6 Billion Pesos will just end up in
the pockets of one or maybe a few families and worse, we will all have to
pay for their greed.

Nakakainis at Nakakagalit ang nangyayari sa ZTE Deal na to, harap harapan na
tayong ginagago ng gobyerno natin and as one of my students in class said,
he wouldn’t be surprised if another scandal comes out within the next few
months… it seems that Malacañang is already so used to scandals because
they know they will eventually get away with it once media and the public
grow tired of hearing about these scandals. Pero para sa akin, mas
nakakalungkot na parang walang pakialam at walang ginagawa ang karamihan sa
kabataang Pilipino sa mga nangyayaring ito, it seems that the Filipino Youth
which led the charge in EDSA 2 is nowhere to be found. Could it be that the
Filipino Youth has given up all Hope for making this country great again?
Could it be the Filipino Youth has given up in its fight for a clean and
effective government? Has the youth given up on our future? I hope I am
wrong because what is at stake here is not just my future or the future of
the poor, it is our shared future that we have to continue to fight for.
Ayaw ba natin na dumating ang araw na bawat Pilipino pwede nang magkaroon ng
kalidad na edukasyon? Ayaw ba natin na dumating ang araw na hindi na natin
kailangang mag abroad at mahiwalay sa pamilya para magakaroon ng magandang
trabaho? If we can all work together and join forces, we can show this
administration that we will not just sit idly while they continue to corrupt
and destroy our future, remember that in 2010 the Filipino Youth will be
able to elect the next President of our country. *Let us not wait till then
to make a change, let us act now, our country needs US Now! *

Siguro kapag nagtrabaho ka na John at nakita mo ang laki ng kinakaltas na tax sa yo, ang maliit na take home pay, tapos nakatanggap ka pa ng electric bill na may patong ding tax at nagbayad sa restaurant na may patong ding tax, (lahat ng binibili natin ngayon may tax kung hindi mo pa alam) mapapamura ka at magtatanong, bakit ako ang nagbabayad ng mga tax na ito gayong hindi naman ako ang nakikinabang?

i will admit that i myself had been slightly bothered by the ZTE scandal not because of the alleged commission but with the manner the government and the opposition is handling the allleged scam. the cover up, the allegations, the kidnapping and now the circus at the senate.
some immediately, without hesitation and respect to other official of the land, already convicted the administration of cover-up and machination to erase the scam. some senators and other opposition genius, wittingly and without inhibition, jumped into the scam to gain media mileage. reason i dont know.
to cut it short, everybody is accusing somebody without concrete evidence, hard facts, and documents to support their allegations. remember, the alleged scam was not consumated.
come on, allegations or charges will not stand in court or any legal proceedings using as an evidence a mere statement from a man who himself committed scam and admitted it in public. (the senate hearing)

evidence is the basic requirement to catch FG and or the president for that matter. until proven in court or any accepted proceedings lets stop throwing charges and allegations that would only confused the common tao.

Lozada said not only once but repeatedly that he did not want to testify. Napilit lang yan at di na talaga makakalusot. Pero ang dami pa ring bumilib kay Lozada kahit na di naman talaga bukal sa loob nya ang pagharap sa senado (cnabi nang napilitan lang e. huwag na kayong makulit).

Who convinced Lozada to speak? Very obvious, influential people of course. Sa tingin nyo, mapipilit c Lozada if he has not given assurance na “kaming bahala sa yo”?

Palibhasa nasadlak na sya sa ganitong sitwasyon, cnabi na nya.. “for the sake of the country” hehehe.

A noble and God-like character is not a thing of chance, but is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking for many years, the effect of long-cherished association with God-like thoughts. An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process, is the result of the continued harboring of groveling thoughts. Thus, Apostol had only shown his real self by his action as he descended below the level of the beast.

We are praying for Jun Lozada. May the Lord help him maintain his courage in the face of the demolition job being done on him. May truth finally prevail and honesty, dignity and love of country be instilled “AGAIN” in the hearts of men/women like MIke Defensor, Lito Atienza and even Pres. Arroyo so that this country can slowly but surely move on its way to a lasting moral recovery.

I am not pro-Arroyo neither an activist, but the recent events especially the ZTE hearing at the Senate, I can say is not worth paying attention to. I admire Lozada for telling what he knows but please, Senators and mediamen, dont compare him to Clarisse Ocampo because she was so cool and tells only of what she knew during the hearing for Pres Erap. Lozada could be telling the truth but he also injects some information to add flavor to the issue. We, Filipinos, should think wiser and learn to weigh things by ourselves. Huwag naman tayong patanga sa mga taong may way para tangahin tayo. Gagawin nila lahat para mauto tayo so please matuto tayong manimbang sa mga nangyayari. Sana ilabas ang lahat ng ebidensiya at hatulan sa tamang lugar ang dapat hatulan. Please lang huwag nyo ng idamay ang mga taong nagpapakahirap sa pagtatrabaho para may makain.

The future of this country should be decided on by the people themselves and not the politicians and military men. Unfortunately, we are too divided to do anything concrete…to the delight of Arroyo et al. I hope the this government will be reminded of the fall of Bastille.

I’m sick and tired of Senate’s never ending investigation of Administration’s wrong doing for the purpose of legislation without achieving any conclusion. They (opposition in general) are not functioning as legislative body but investigative body with a sole and main reason to pin down the current administration so that they can take charge. Can’t they wait the proper time of election to enable them present the most viable alternative to this administration. Anong evidence ang hinahanap nila. Kahit na my evidence just like the HELLO GARCI TAPES, Wala rin mangyari, Its depend kong sino ang matamaan. I believe moral truth should prevail but looking into the situation, the NBN deal had been cancelled so what’s the big deal about it now. Yes, it could have been a big big scandal and with government officials involved but everywhere in the world, we see government officials and leaders committing mistakes and they don’t make put their country into hot- boiling water. We are only making the whole country and the filipino people more confused, instead of educating them in the proper way.
The move to impeach or to ask President Gloria Arroyo to step down from her office is I think, also a foolish idea; those making this move is making our country worst than before. Looking at the past - we see that even from the time of ex Pres. Corazon Aquino, she had already been asked to be out of her office but from that - why don’t we just learn from experience. The ex- Pres. Fidel Ramos was not out of this crisis either. I still hold on that this kind of turmoil, will never help the country or the filipino people. So much money is spent and lost for useless rallies and demonstrations! the poor are most often being used by rich politicians to go and rally for their own benefit or to protect their own interest. To help change the government is to help seek the truth in a more peaceful way! To help develop our country is to learn to trust in the efforts of our leaders.

I’m sick and tired of Senate’s never ending investigation of Administration’s wrong doing for the purpose of legislation without achieving any conclusion. They (opposition in general) are not functioning as legislative body but investigative body with a sole and main reason to pin down the current administration so that they can take charge. Can’t they wait the proper time of election to enable them present the most viable alternative to this administration. Honestly, I don’t believed in Mr. Lozada. In the first place he admitted his own corrupt practices and all he says are mere allegations without documentary evidence and cannot stand in any court of law. My advised to him please don’t destabilize this country. Nakakagulo yong testimony mo at hindi nakakatulong sa ating ekonomiya. And to the Senators please stop this nonsense, waste of time investigations. Sayang ang billions of pesos na budget n’yo. Ang main function ninyo ay ang gumawa ng batas para sa kabutihan ng mga Filipino hindi mag conduct ng useless investigations paulit-ulit wala namang nangyayari. Talagang in aid of grandstanding lang and early politicking.

I am not pro-Arroyo neither an activist, but the recent events especially the ZTE hearing at the Senate, I can say is not worth paying attention to. I admire Lozada for telling what he knows but please, Senators and mediamen, dont compare him to Clarisse Ocampo because she was so cool and tells only of what she knew during the hearing for Pres Erap. Lozada could be telling the truth but he also injects some information to add flavor to the issue. We, Filipinos, should think wiser and learn to weigh things by ourselves. Huwag naman tayong patanga sa mga taong may way para tangahin tayo. Gagawin nila lahat para mauto tayo so please matuto tayong manimbang sa mga nangyayari. Sana ilabas ang lahat ng ebidensiya at hatulan sa tamang lugar ang dapat hatulan. Please lang huwag nyo ng idamay ang mga taong nagpapakahirap sa pagtatrabaho para may makain.

Lozada said not only once but repeatedly that he did not want to testify. Napilit lang yan at di na talaga makakalusot. Pero ang dami pa ring bumilib kay Lozada kahit na di naman talaga bukal sa loob nya ang pagharap sa senado (cnabi nang napilitan lang e. huwag na kayong makulit).

Who convinced Lozada to speak? Very obvious, influential people of course. Sa tingin nyo, mapipilit c Lozada if he has not given assurance na “kaming bahala sa yo”?

He probably isn’t even planning ahead of his future kasi nga di siya sigurado if he would be alive the next day. I tell you, try to imagine yourself in his shoes, don’t you think he is really BRAVE?

Because of this death threats that Jun Lozada is receiving that is probably the reason why he did what he did–to testify in the Senate. That is actually his way of asking help to the Filipino people, kasi nga malaking mga tao ang binagga niya at dahil di naman siya influential na tao–humihingi siya na proteksyon sa madlang Pilipino–dahil kahit ordinaryong tao lamang tayo kapag nagsama sama, kaya nating itaob ang mga malaking buwaya na nakikinanabang sa kayamanan ng bansa. It is very easy to accuse anybody but to prove the allegation is the difficult part. In the case of Mr. Lozada I believe he is not a credible witness because his testimony is not backed by solid evidence and also because of the fact that he himself admitted his own wrongdoings and therefore is guilty of corruption. So, it would be much better to put and end to this useless Senate investigations which afterward produces nothing (no legislation) and only a waste of taxpayers money. It is very clear from the body language of Senators like Villar, Lacson, Roxas, Legarda etc. that this is being done not because they hate corruption per se but because of their political ambition in 2010. Based on observation, the President really works very hard to move this country forward. Let’s pray and support her and allow her to finish her term. After her term ends when she is no longer immune from suit, I challenge all the critics to prepare and file their charges in the proper court not trial by publicity

What you know and what you can prove are two different things. Jun Lozada and Joey De Venecia keep on saying they know a lot of things. But can they prove what they claim? Jun Lozada had lied in the past, so which part of his statement is true this time. What about Joey? Si Joey ay na 1-2-3 (meaning hindi sapat and perang inalok sa kanya, kaya siya tumuga). Otherwise, these things will not come out. Thanks (sa pagbubulgar ng katiwalian), but no thanks anyway.

Ang problema sa administrasyong ito, lahat ng imbestigasyon sa Senado, sinasabotahe. Nasaan is Joc Joc Bolante? Nasaan si Garcillano? At nasaan na si Bedol? Laht ng taong gobyernong ito na makapagbibigay ng liwanag sa imbestigasyon, nawala nang lahat. Bakit ayaw humarap ng kabinete ni Arroyo sa Senado? Ito lamang ang administrasyon na lahat ay nakatago. Ngayon sasabihin na palabas lamang ang ginagawa sa senado? Bakit hindi humarap ang mga taong kailangang humarap para mabigyan ng “final closure” ang lahat ng issue na dapat maliwanagan?

1. How can you course it to proper law forum where in fact they (PGMA et ALL’) are the law. They even outsmarted the senate most of the time.

2. Which part and when did the witness (Lozada) lied? I think he is very consistent. Mike (Defensor) even admitted to the 50,000 money given by him to Loazada.

3. I think Lozada is a simple man. The fact of the reason on why he became a part of the present government’s mainstream is his gratitude to Corpus. Corpus tried to stop the people who threaten his life, and he exchange his services, doing project evaluation. So question is, what will he gain for this so-called lying? Another series of death threat? Think people!

4. If there was no truth or even a single element of truth about the ZTE-NBN corruption……why did PGMA suspend (and later stop) the deal?

5. What made Abalos resign this time? Why not during the computerization scandal? Why not during the height of election fraud? You’re guess is good as mine. It’s already up to their necks!

I see no motive on the part of Lozada why he will lie on these matters.

I think the crooks (present government) under-estimated him along the way. Thinking that he might not come out as a credible witness or nobody will listen to him, because he is a nobody. Now he is giving them sleepless nights, and have raise their paranoia up a little bit. :-)

So, let me say to your witness (Lozada)……keep doing what you’re doing right now. I know it’s not that easy, and I congratulate you for your courage.

give me a country that is not corrupt. and if you can give me one then, i can say that the philippines government is really corrupt.
the problem with us filipinos is… we try to be saint in the age of sinners.

we try to be clean,while we are dirty as a laundry. we try to wash our dirt in televised investigation showing how filthy we are to the whole world.

the problem with the senate investigation is, they have a witness who is not credible at all. all what he says is what he heard and hears, as in the court of law is inadmissible as evidence.

we filipinos should be smart enough not to be affected and swayed by this kind of scandal.
Accusation of corruption is not new to us.
we did that to marcos and yet as of today, we cannot find his billions.
cory was targeted because of kamag-anak inc. and yet her kamag-anak remained her relatives,
Fidel was accused of backroom deal of Amari and if we listened, the Fort Bonifacio will remain as fort and not a new thriving city;
Poor Erap, he was a victim of scandalous accusation which up to know he said he is innocent but deprived of governance on his term.

now, a new old reality tv is the headline news… same story, “corruption”, same production background,”the senate” same character”senators” new leading actor,”ponga”and the same plot to oust the president.

However, by not demanding the truth to come out, they will only continue to steal from us. By not taking action, we are only succumbing to these thieves and allowing them to exploit us once again. By not holding our government to a higher moral standard, future presidents will only be more corrupt and more incompetent than GMA.
