A FORMER congressman, a bar topnotcher and a public official, Secretary Sergio Apostol was one of the prominent politicians respected during his term as a congressman, championing the cause even of OFWs when he was one of the first congressmen to use their CDF to finance OFWs
overseas.
But as a Filipino with Chinese origin (from the Lim family clan), I find it hard to believe the good man Apostol as I used to see him become tactless in his words against Lozada, being emotionally driven as to spark the ire of the Chinese community. I can only imagine how much of a bad influence the Palace could give good politicians like Apostol. I have not met him personally, but I only heard good things about him in the past. Now this, such an outrage.
Regardless of who they are, or their origin, Palace should amply react to such an outrage, quickly salvaging its image by getting rid of such people who would tactlessly make such remarks against cultural or religious minorities in the country. Malacañang is looked upon as the epitome of public administration, regardless of how its image is being questioned these days, and should do its best to protect or maintain its integrity, for whatever is left of it.

I’m sick and tired of Senate’s never ending investigation of Administration’s wrong doing for the purpose of legislation without achieving any conclusion. They (opposition in general) are not functioning as legislative body but investigative body with a sole and main reason to pin down the current administration so that they can take charge. Can’t they wait the proper time of election to enable them present the most viable alternative to this administration. Meanwhile do their share of work as members of senate task to pass laws that will benefit the entire country. Maawa naman kayo sa Pilipinas. Let’s work together for the better life of all Filipinos.

So, How can we move forward as a team FOR A BETTER PHILIPPINES IF THOSE IN POWER THE ONE DOING THE BLUNDER.

5. “you cannot fool the people ALL THE TIME”.
6. i think that we should all analyze what’s in it for us. whether we are on the left or on the right…. at the moment we are all in the loosing end.

Kahit na makarating iyan sa court house. Nothing good will happen to these complaint even though there is solid evidence against them. Because they control the entire corrupt justice system. Lahat nabili na nila. Except Jun Lozada.

I wonder why the whole country even some religious groups and bishops tend to be swayed by this NBN deal controversy. I believe moral truth should prevail but looking into the situation, the NBN deal had been cancelled so what’s the big deal about it now. Yes, it could have been a big big scandal and with government officials involved but everywhere in the world, we see government officials and leaders committing mistakes and they don’t make put their country into hot- boiling water. We are only making the whole country and the filipino people more confused, instead of educating them in the proper way.
The move to impeach or to ask President Gloria Arroyo to step down from her office is I think, also a foolish idea; those making this move is making our country worst than before. Looking at the past - we see that even from the time of ex Pres. Corazon Aquino, she had already been asked to be out of her office but from that - why don’t we just learn from experience. The ex- Pres. Fidel Ramos was not out of this crisis either. I still hold on that this kind of turmoil, will never help the country or the filipino people. So much money is spent and lost for useless rallies and demonstrations! the poor are most often being used by rich politicians to go and rally for their own benefit or to protect their own interest. To help change the government is to help seek the truth in a more peaceful way! To help develop our country is to learn to trust in the efforts of our leaders.
Finally, is Joker Arroyo - the Pres. Gloria Arroyo?

minds…. weak or not react according to their own utility… me ebidensya o wala. it took more than x number of years for the government courts to say that ninoy has been killed by x number of soldiers… yung kay kennedy di pa rin alam kung sinong mastermind…
arguing on what your personal perception is and what the public perception should be is not a matter of presenting evidences. evidence is what a weak mind needs for him to believe that something really happened… ninoy is dead… kennedy is dead… do we need more evidence?

Anong evidence ang hinahanap nila. Kahit na my evidence just like the HELLO GARCI TAPES, Wala rin mangyari, Its depend kong sino ang matamaan. Kong ang away ang matamaan talagang bulok sila sa kulonga, Kahit na walang evidence. Pero kapag ang nasa government ang matamaan nothing good will happen. Even though there is solid evidence against them.
How can you justife that? sabihin mo we have a corrupt justice system. Kaya nothing good happen to those evidence they’re presenting.

Correction on my earlier post.
Who was/were convicted — Who was the mastermind instead. (Because there were convictions although many people were not convinced by the findings).
But again, they did not react like what we are doing right now on the NBN controversy.
