A FORMER congressman, a bar topnotcher and a public official, Secretary Sergio Apostol was one of the prominent politicians respected during his term as a congressman, championing the cause even of OFWs when he was one of the first congressmen to use their CDF to finance OFWs
overseas.
But as a Filipino with Chinese origin (from the Lim family clan), I find it hard to believe the good man Apostol as I used to see him become tactless in his words against Lozada, being emotionally driven as to spark the ire of the Chinese community. I can only imagine how much of a bad influence the Palace could give good politicians like Apostol. I have not met him personally, but I only heard good things about him in the past. Now this, such an outrage.
Regardless of who they are, or their origin, Palace should amply react to such an outrage, quickly salvaging its image by getting rid of such people who would tactlessly make such remarks against cultural or religious minorities in the country. Malacañang is looked upon as the epitome of public administration, regardless of how its image is being questioned these days, and should do its best to protect or maintain its integrity, for whatever is left of it.

jun lozada is brave man..saludo ako sayo pare!……………to the critics..his submission to the senate inquiry is aready a huge justification of his true intention to divulge every maggots and crocs this goverment have..i think risking his life on this matter is more than the documentation that the critics were looking for, guessed not every body have the courage like this guy have, his life is hanging in the balance, so lets support him allout.

I have believed and respected Apostol when he was during Erap’s impeachment. Sadly, I think Apostol has been with Sec. Gonzales too often he’s absorbing his trait, that of a loudmouth! huh!

sa totoo lang ha, nkakainis na!!!
besides the apostol issue is the underlying discussion about lozada and his allegations, remember, allegations, kasi till now wala pa siyang hinaharap na documentary evidence, this is the right course of action to seek out justice, kung’di ito susundin, then i can say hindi justice ang hanap niya. tsaka bakit sa senado niya dinala ung reklamo niya, isn’t it about time to resolve this issue? para nman di maapektuhan ung buong pilipinas, kasi sigurado pag lumala ung isyu na ‘to tingin niyo sino ba ung magugutom?
hirap kc sa iba jan, sakay ng sakay sa isyu, lalo na pabor sa hangarin nilang pulitikal, di man lng inisip ung magiging sakripisyo ng mga na sa ibaba.
i don’t care if all the scandals and allegations are true or not, kung di susundin ung proseso, then alang mangyayari…
i say, if u want to criticize, then be responsible enough 4 ur own deeds everyday. mahirap kasi magmalinis at magreklamo lang ng hindi ka naman gumagawa ng solusyon para makatulong, and no, writing a blog or a reply here is not a concrete enough action for nation building.
do little things to help ur country, more concretely, refer to the 12 little things you can do for your country, di ba mas maganda un?

The future of this country should be decided on by the people themselves and not the politicians and military men. Unfortunately, we are too divided to do anything concrete…to the delight of Arroyo et al. I hope the this government will be reminded of the fall of Bastille.

I am not pro-Arroyo neither an activist, but the recent events especially the ZTE hearing at the Senate, I can say is not worth paying attention to. I admire Lozada for telling what he knows but please, Senators and mediamen, dont compare him to Clarisse Ocampo because she was so cool and tells only of what she knew during the hearing for Pres Erap. Lozada could be telling the truth but he also injects some information to add flavor to the issue. We, Filipinos, should think wiser and learn to weigh things by ourselves.
