THE PANIC that the Arroyo administration has over its (mis)handling of the ZTE-NBN [national broadband network] controversy has obviously further clouded its ability to think.
The administration should, by now, have learned something from the lack of intelligence that all the President’s men had exhibited when they testified at the Senate to demolish the testimony of the ZTE-NBN star witness, Jun Lozada, and save the scalp of their lady boss. The bright boys of Malacañang should realize that the more this administration violently fights its way out of the quicksilver it has gotten itself into, the faster that it would sink. They should instead face the music rather than spin stories not even nitwits would believe.
The assassination plot against PGMA is another of these and the people might get fed up because of the contempt its spinners have for their intelligence and would stage another EDSA out of their pique.

The assassination plot is very possible. Sa toto lang galit na galit na yong mga political enemies ni Pres. GMA kasi palaging hindi umobra ang kanilang mga palpak na strategy. Karamihan ng mga Pilipino ay sawang-sawa na sa political bickerings, grandstanding at destablization. Two things: who has the guts to actually assassinate the president and, on the other hand who has the mere benefit of the imagination to cast curses and all the ills in the world one can think of towards the lady tyrant?
While the former gives you the impression that rebels might as well fall under that bracket, those who despise the administration down to its marrow fall under the latter. But why would they want to slay the dragon if keeping it rot in its decaying form does not only relieve them of having to drench blood but also give these people the benefit to watch a callous soul implode? Which leaves one to think: do rebels need to give the pronouncement that they want to slay the president? Apparently, it does not take an Einstein to figure out that they want the head of the president, literally. Now it won’t make much sense to make that warning more public either. At the end of the day, it might only spoil their plot or what have you.
Which brings us to another question: are we gullible enough to allow this gibberish of an excuse to stand against our view of the ZTE-NBN wildfire, and to allow the rest of the government’s scandals be covered by a lousy, anorexic, and ageing slay plot that has refused to fart-off with the wind all along?

If I could predict the future of the Philippines, I honestly believe that the opposition will not stop until they get what they really want…which is the presidency from the present holder, control of the government.
However, once they get the prize, the cycle of the same corruptions and all the ills of the past government will be installed again, and this time, it might even be bigger than the last one.
Such is the scenarios that I have witnessed in my youth and will be
until I die.
Suggestions:
1. The man of the cloth (priest, bishops and others) should not go into politics, but do their vows in helping the poor and the sick, and not get involve in politics. Priest should tend to the needs of the souls and not the pockets. Leave politics to the knowledgeable honest people.
2. Politicians should control themselves from greed. If they want to get rich, go into business and sweat it out.
3. People should not be swayed by a few pesos to do the dirty work of the politicians and people with their own agenda.
Stand for our rights and serve the country and our fellow Pilipinos by being proud in our honest labor. Let us all reject corrupt politicians and do not be a part of the corruption process that is eating up the fiber of our nation.
Let us show the world that we are not stupid, corrupt people. Let us show everybody that we can stand against corruption and corrupt politicians. (We already who these people are.)
