I BELIEVE that the Makati rallies play an important part in awakening the real feelings of the Filipino people.
The true sentiments of disgust and loss of trust in the government must be expressed, must be shown for the entire world to see. This GMA government and all its henchmen will do all at their disposal to prevent and stop all negative sentiments that our people will manifest toward them. Even a “no-fly zone” over Makati where the rally was being held was suddenly declared.

Emily we can’t have the change you want not unless the society also changes. A corrupt government is a product of a similarly corrupt society. As long as there are people who are willing to sell their votes this cycle of corruption will not end. If the Filipino people will find a respectable, uncrorruptable Presidentiable, no amount of cheating can beat him if everybody will vote for him. 27 Million to 1 is a hard odd to beat. If you will support a good presidentiable, make sure you also vote the other candidates in his ticket, this is the only way we can assure that he will not be force to sleep with the enemy to get his good program going. The streets is not the correct way to achieve change. We shouldnt also let our children be used in the rallies by these irresponsible schools. Theres a proper place and timely lesson for their education, and the street is not one of them. You dont teach calculus to a 6th grader. If we let these trapos and their disciples corrupt the minds of our children, then expect this cycle of corruption will not end. Remember, the greatest trick the devil ever played is to make people believe that he didn’t exist.

That Interfaith rally held in Makati sure was tainted and full of political vultures so it ended up a FLOP as usual.
Though it may be the biggest anti-Arroyo rally so far but what happenned was that the true-blue rally attendees who just have simple sentiments on the corruption issue WERE FED TO THESE TRAPO PERSONALITIES’ POWER HUNGER, the likes of Erap, Cory, Maceda, Binay, Guingona and others who attended in the flop rally.
Next time, those who wish to attend these rallies must check first where, what, who will be in the rallies, because these innocent rally attendees are just adding to the joys and whims of these Trapos. DONT BE A DUMBER, BE WISE!

It’s really sad to think of what’s happening to the Philippines. How can we be proud of our country? When this will end? When will be the time were we will have a government with clear concience to do whatever is right to do as public official? Can we still hope for that? Never ending corruption, never ending charges of corruption and is there anybody admit that they did corruption? Is there anybody being punished and have been put to jail? to a real jail? If an ordinary man who stole a can of meatloaf just out of hunger will be put to jail for a month, how come a government official who stole a million of money will not go to jail? Because the ordinary man has no money to defend himself but at least he is not a liar. Where is justice in this country?
I really pray for the Philippines that one day we will have a government who has the heart for our countrymen and will only used the money for the people. During every election, they always say that they want to help the poor, showing a street children in their advertisement means that they love these people and will help them once they are elected. What is our qualification to be the President in this country? just be a Filipino citizen? But, why if we are applying for a job, a lot of qualification: age, gender, experience even they say has pleasing personality. What do you mean by pleasing personality? Physically? Morally? Do we have this qualification for the President of the country or any position in the government?
God knows the truth, we can lie to people and make different stories but we can’t lie to God. God is watching over us, to all of us and in His perfect time, He is ready to punish peoples who do evil. I might be an ordinary citizen but I am really praying that God will show His mercy to our country and will give us leaders who has concience and who will really lead our country the way they should be, who will not corrupt even a single cents from people’s money, who will really help the poor especially our street children. I hope and pray that time will come the we will be proud of our President, our government and all other public officials.
Can you imagine a street children, beggars, old peoples, who beg money just to have any food for a day and imagine how much money being stole to our government instead of using that to help them get out from the street. We can’t always blame their parents and say that they are lazy. At least the government has to do something else for them! Did we ever had any program to get them from the street and bring to any place where they can have a real life and food everyday. How many old people we can see on overpass, MRT station, underpass begging for money or for food? How many street children begging for coins? selling something on the street just to have some money to buy their food for the day? Children who are collecting garbage for 2 to 5 peso coins? I remember when I was in North Fairview, a girl aged between 4 to 5 years old with her younger sister, they knocked at the gate of our house asking if we have garbage that they can throw and so we can give them any money for doing that. That day we have a very big heavy watermelon that is not really sweet so I want to get rid of that. I told them I have garbage but I know they can’t carry it coz its too heavy and they are very little to carry that. I asked tham where is their cart so I can bring the garbage myself, but they say its not there so they have to carry the garbage somewhere coz the cart is somewhere, so I have no choice but to give them, I remember I gave them 10 peso coins and I watched them while they walked away. The older girl carry the very heavy watermelon in a plastic bag but she fell on the ground many times and the smaller girl just walking behind her. I really cried watching them and I feel sorry for giving them the garbage watermelon maybe what I should did was just to give them the 10 peso coins and not give them the heavy watermelon.
It’s really amazing how many people posting their comments and opinion on internet ( especially in Youtube where you can hear the “Hello Garci” tape) showing their anger to our government to the President especially this time of a lot of scandal, mocking the President, cursing the President. Its true that’s how they feel. I might have anger too in my heart but cursing will not help maybe praying and asking God to help our country and show His Mighty Hand to whoever government official who did wrong in the government. That the next President will have fear to do any wrongdoings next time because they realize that God really punished evil people.
We want to be proud of our country and our President and our government, but how? Tell us how? Of course I am proud of some of our culture, being hospitable, our shyness sometimes, being a people of character and still a lot of our culture we can be proud of. God Bless the Philippines and our people!!!!! God bless our brave reporters and all people who are not afraid to report and reveal the truth about what’s happening to our government. God Bless everybody!!!!!!
