TO the nagging question: “Who can replace her (GMA)?” — the logical answer is in this form: “What if she’s incapacitated, or she resigns or, God forbid, she dies, will the Philippines be lost in oblivion?”
No one is indispensable regardless whether or not he or she occupies the highest position in the land. Maybe a “lesser evil” (as a figure of speech) will, but let’s hope the one who next occupies the seat is no evil. So, if the office of the president is vacated, there is no choice but for the VP to assume the office of the presidency — regardless of whether or not the VP is “capable” of leading the nation.
Perhaps, we can backtrack starting from the Comelec… How are candidates qualified and/or “disqualified” from running for office? Our voters can only select from candidates pre-selected by the Comelec. Disqualifying candidates is left with the Comelec — in the hands of people no less like the former [chairman Benjamin] Abalos! So, what’s there to choose from? There are thousands/millions of Filipinos who believe that the current VP is not capable to do so, but there are more who believed he can — when they elected him along with her in the last elections. Tainted with fraud as it may have been, that last election, nevertheless, had placed them (President and VP) in their current seats. And, if the nation cannot remove either or both of them from their seats, then there’s no other way but for the people to let them finish their terms but closely watching them with vigilant eyes and corresponding vigilant action, such as what’s happening today — perhaps, until such time that the people have gathered enough courage and strength to force a critical change without bloodshed.
Assuming that the VP replaces the President, and if he performs/behaves like the person he replaced, then we know that the people can replace him, too, anytime, perhaps easier than when the same people mandated the ouster of the President. So, whether we believe or not in the “capability” of the VP to lead the nation, we must learn to accept the fact that life is [about] taking risks. Life is asking questions without expecting to get all the answers within our lifetime.

I believe jun lozada tells half truth in order for his image to be a “mr. nice guy” to those narrow-minded people whose concern are themselves. If he tells the truth, why there is no minute evidence being presented. Why he did not go to the proper agency to handle his concern so that proper action can be done? Is he letting himself to be used by WALANG KWENTANG SENADO (I attended senate hearing and i saw how government wasting money to this upper house of congress). I agree that senate be abolished but retain the lower house of congress because they are representing their respective districts. unlike these senators who are best in grandstanding instead of making important laws.Their investigations always go to futility.Like this one with Lozada’s expose. In aid of what legislation they are referring to? It seems they forget their priorities being a senator. Hope evidence be presented so that it will not be a mere hearsay. We all know that government is not perfect but lets do our share to make it credible to the world. rallyists are only barking to the problems in society but forgot to bite these for us to be one of the best country in our generation. Let us help PGMA build our nation better. Presidentiable senators perform your duties well by proving to us to be worthy to be the leader of the Philippines. Make it sure lang na HUWAG DIN KUKURAKOT. bAka maging sobra pa kayo sa present administration. sayang lang ang pinaghirapan ng government agencies and the present administration in doing its best to uplift our way of living. I agree that I feel the projects of government. I am not yet a beneficiary of one of the projects of PGMA but i saw how my kabarangays able to have work because of the investors who come in our province. I even acquainted with other people from other provinces who come here because of the opportunities that PGMA make. PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ALL OF THESE BECAUSE OF YOUR (SENATORS) GREEDINESS TO POWER. SAYANG LANG ANG PERA NG BAYAN SA INYO.

Okay, for the record, if we are saying that the current administration is guilty beyond doubt about this scam, then I propose that the witness(es) should present in the senate voluminous documents that positively implicates the accused, then we proceed to the SC to sue the guilty party and let them hand down a verdict.
