I hoped there would be more Filipinos who disrespect the president. Respect should come to those who are doing the right things. You should chain your presidents in the deepest cell of Muntinlupa instead of letting them be prisoned in luxury. They are not only stealing money. They are killing people.

2) You want to shield your children from the harsh world of reality.

I also have a daughter who is now ten years old. I am not shielding her. I take her by the hand to show her the harsh world. If I am not doing it the other people will form her mind.

Regarding the current situation:
I believe Lozada. Because it fits perfectly in the whole picture including Garci, use of Philhealth funds, Neri’s statements, De Venecia’s statements and all the cover up operations of the government

Maybe GMA did not mastermind all that. But she has the responsibility. She might be a sitting duck and her hands are tied on many cases of corruption because she needs the support of those people comitting it to stay in power. She should have stepped down long time ago.

On the other hand I have to puke when I see how they turn Lozada into a hero for their own interest.

But still it is better to kick out a corrupt president even if the next one would be worse.

I do agree that there is no hard evidence that Lozada is presenting, but still common sense exists. People do believe him due to this so called “common sense”. Do you mean, I am too good to be true.
Or you’re the one who has an attitude problem for i can sense your ill mannered and short tempered.
When it comes to attitude, we should be like Jesus Christ who has ,humility, love, compassion, generosity, caring, kindness, selflessness and giving.

Why blame all the misery of poor filipinos to our president. Our president is the last recourse.
Society starts in the family and the head of the family should provide to his family and not the president.
You should be proud of the fact that we have GMA as president. Im neither of Jun’s side, but objectively looking on it; should this project be pursued, the overpriced deal would add up to our debts (take note, “ours”). Yes, we would be paying that.

It is is not the issue of who brought up or manipulating this matter; it is this “matter” that concerns most. Set aside the senate, set aside Jun; just merely look on the issue per se.

On the debate, ABS CBN had done that in my recollection (HARAPAN- im not even a kapamilya or kapuso as well). It was a good venue of somehow seeing the personalities of these individuals at the same time for the public to analyze the scenario.

But too much debate would not resolve the problem. I agree, court should decide, it is the proper body to adress this matter.

At the same time, we should not stop becoming aware of the different problems yet continue supporting good projects the government have. The perspective of becoming more aware of the right governance is a healthy attitude. Yet, awareness goes with action. Follow the good, constructively criticize the bad…

The solution to CORRUPTION is VIGILANCE, and NOT DISTURBANCE!!!

What is the point of Abalos debating with Lozada? What propositions would they debate upon? It will only give Abalos the chance to sling mud around and obfuscate the issues. The only issue at worth debating upon is whether the people has reached the point of desperation, like a once patient carabao that goes amuck, unable no longer to bear its cruel yoke. I suggest that instead of debate, the best way to ascertain who is telling the truth is for Jun Lozada as well as Benjamin Abalos et.al. to face the local and foreign media in a live press conference, there to field all questions to determine their credibility. In the name of transparency I also dare Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to face the Filipino people through the local and foreign press in such a media conference, not one-on-one interviews that are scripted and mean nothing. Rather than face her accusers, Mrs. Arroyo has been running around in provincial sorties trying to forget the sordid state of the nation. She is fleeing from the ghosts of her criminal government. “The guilty flees when no one pursues, but the innocent is bold as a lion.”
