QUESTION: How many Philippine senators does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: 24 plus their assistants.
I can only observe with distress why nothing ever gets resolved in this country. Malacañang says they will not attend Senate hearings unless the Senate publishes the rules.
How many debates will we have over radio and television? How many statements to the press will we hear? How many bombastic and self-righteous remarks are we away from resolving this?
Maybe I just have a simple mind, but if the rules are already there, then just publish it so we can get moving on these investigations. Isn’t that the simplest, most direct step to take? Can these supposedly learned and principled men for once just do things right?
Just publish the damn rules and get it over with! What is so difficult with that?

The failure of this administration to let out the other pieces of truth being held by the government should lead to a demand for accountability by those who will be found betraying the trust of the people, for without truth and accountability there will be no justice in the land,” he said.
Lozada ended his piece with an exhortation: “I have now come to realize this is not about Jun Lozada. It is about every Filipino fighting for what is right against an unjust order, it is about every Filipino demanding from its government the truth amidst the lies and deceit, it’s about every Filipino rallying to battle against the evil that has long imprisoned the Filipino people
………….
Poor Jun Lozada, Gloria Arroyo, Et al. Is not about to tell the truth on the corruption that is hounding her bogus regime. They will kill you first.

what’s with the rules. what’ the big deal with it and why the arroyo administration want it? we have the issue here of corruption that people deserves to know. we have the ombudsman supposed to be on the fore-front of prosecuting corrupt gov’t official… yeah they can’t just easily moved in… there are rules that need to be followed, procedure that need to be taken…. good thing we have senators digging into this corruption issue. are we getting more stupid because the books says ahhh… no evidence, we can’t prosecute these people. maybe it just plain illusion or some sort imagination that portion of tax payers money went to these greedy gov’t officials…

lulu pidal.. it is very easy for u to say that GMA is robbing the philippine coffer but can u prove it? npka dali lng tlga manira ng tao. do you think that the senators’ only job is to investigate? why dont they investigate the anomaly at the Phil. forrest? yung dating presidente ng Phil. Forrest ang korap talaga! ganyn batas b ang gusto nyo? may kinikilinga? u want to naildown GMA s mga hearsay accusations nyo habang c lozada pinoprotrektahan nyo? its very obvious namn n gngmit nila ang issue re s ZTE/NBN deal para lng magpgwapo s 2010 elections.
====
So bale wala na ang ZTE/NBN sa iyo, ganoon ba yon? Hindi bale na nangyari ang anomalya tutal lahat naman ganoon din? Huwag nang buklatin at ibulalat ang kurapsion ni Gloria at Abalos? Ganoon ba yon?

i remember during erap’s time, an impeachment complaint was filed against tancangco by monsod and group(overpriced computers w/c aren’t working), but, since congress was controlled by erap that time, she wasn’t impeached. the scenario is being repeated now, w/ congress controlled by gma.
i’m pretty sure the same thing will happen post-gma, because it’s the same politicians who will run the govt.
btw…i remember tancangco was my prof. in grad. school, and you know how many times she met w/ us in 1 semester? twice! she just gave us tons and tons of reading assignments, 2 or 3 lectures , then mid-terms and exams. did i learn anything from her? nothing, bec. i self-studied.
look what her legacy was at comelec@#%^&8!
and now erap is talking about accountability? accountability my foot!
they are all the same….pansarili lamang, walang malasakit sa bayan!
