QUESTION: How many Philippine senators does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: 24 plus their assistants.
I can only observe with distress why nothing ever gets resolved in this country. Malacañang says they will not attend Senate hearings unless the Senate publishes the rules.
How many debates will we have over radio and television? How many statements to the press will we hear? How many bombastic and self-righteous remarks are we away from resolving this?
Maybe I just have a simple mind, but if the rules are already there, then just publish it so we can get moving on these investigations. Isn’t that the simplest, most direct step to take? Can these supposedly learned and principled men for once just do things right?
Just publish the damn rules and get it over with! What is so difficult with that?

Barorot, Lakay, kumandidato tayong senador at pag nahalal tayo, konti-konti lang kung magnakaw tayo. Ibahagi natin ang mas marami sa ating mga kababayan. Alam nýo, utak pating ang mga opisyals na ito. Ang pating, pag nahuli mo, disembowel it and throw its innards into the ocean, then when you throw the pating, while it´s still alive, after it, kakainin nýa ang sarili nýang laman-loob na ýon Ganyan katakaw at kababaw ang utak ng mga anak ng pating na mga magnanakaw na ito!
I really see no end in sight to the misery of the Filipino people due to the actions of a few sharks!

Your proposition is well-taken. I take your rebuttal as very objective. Hanga din ako sa pasensya mo. Unlike others na parang tumutula ng pagmumura. Kilala naman nila yung sarili nila d2 sa blog.
Hindi din naman ako 100% for GMA, kasi nga magulo din yung mga nag-ooppose at kanya-kanya ang mga opposition. Siguro kung buhay pa si Ninoy Aquino ngayon, MATAGAL NANG WALA SI GLORIA SA POSISYON.
Pero ayaw ko naman magtiwala sa pulitikong may basbas ni Erap, Naku, siguradong mangungurakot din yun!
Kung si Noli de Castro pwede na sana kaso ewan ko lang kung tatagal siya sa pressure lalo na at marami din ayaw sa kanya at wala akong tiwala sa pinagsisilbihan niyang ABS-CBN station kasi influence peddler din mga tao dito, maaring proteksyon na din sa mga pag-aari ng mga Lopez like Maynilad,NLEX and Meralco. Tauhan lang ni Lopez si De Castro at si Lopez naman malapit or related kina Cory and Erap.
Might as well bite the bullet with Gloria, siguro marami na naman ang aware sa corruption under her regime so babantayan na lang maige, Accountability?, perhaps in 2010.

to maria makiling.. i dont know what kind of evidence u have. why dont you share it with the senators & present your evidence at the proper court? i dont think lozada is fighting for truth, i think he is fighting for his freedom from his cases.. that’s the truth. he is only using the word “TRUTH” & “DEATH THREAT” as an alibi, a scape goat from his wrong doings. just like in the bible, jews shouted for the freedom of barabas. lozada is barabas & the opositions are the jews. 1 more thing, why dont u have any evidence against lozada? he is a confirmed corrupt, right?

bungangaraw….well-said. i have elucidated many times re my disgust, too, on how much is too much for these corrupt politicians to be satiated enough to stop. but it seems, they go on and on and on…you are right, they ignore the signs, and that is plain stupidity. just watch masterminds on crime/ suspense tv, and see how the most cunning, scheming felon gets caught, and how. in the vernacular, “sasablay din yan” ;-))
