QUESTION: How many Philippine senators does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: 24 plus their assistants.
I can only observe with distress why nothing ever gets resolved in this country. Malacañang says they will not attend Senate hearings unless the Senate publishes the rules.
How many debates will we have over radio and television? How many statements to the press will we hear? How many bombastic and self-righteous remarks are we away from resolving this?
Maybe I just have a simple mind, but if the rules are already there, then just publish it so we can get moving on these investigations. Isn’t that the simplest, most direct step to take? Can these supposedly learned and principled men for once just do things right?
Just publish the damn rules and get it over with! What is so difficult with that?

Ang hirap naman kasi sa mga pulitiko natin, daming satsat wala namang gawa. Dapat tinangal na lahat ng magkakapamilya diyan at hinde puwede ang ganyang kahabang imbestigasyon, sayang lang pera

If the Senate publish the rules that means they have to follow with it. Senators are notorious for not following the rules even obeying the law, because they believe THEY ARE THE LAW. Is there anyone in the senate that can be trusted and honest. I don’t think they even respect the highest institution of the land. The senate is where the BIG MONEY is, being there is a prize and your family will be settled for life. The Senate belongs to 90 million filipinos in 2010 it’s time to take it back and return it to the rightful owner, lets start KICKING THOSE LOUSY ASSES of current so called 24 Senators.

Our present legislative and executive will go down history as the worst in their respective areas.
I will tell my kids that they are the worst people to have assumed office

Puro Senate Investigation in aid of legislation ang halos ginagawa nila. Ang nangyari ay puro investigation lang at walang legislation so nasayang ang bilyong piso na pork barrel nila dahil walang batas na nagawa resulting from their investigations. Ang naging resulta ay bangayan ng mga administration officials, opposition senators and some members of Supreme Court. Naipit sa kanila ang kapakanan ng mamamayan. Ngayon ako kumbinsido na dapat na talagang alisin ang senado at gawing unicameral na lang ang legislature natin because senate is a symbol of elite’s dysfunctional system whose aim by its majority is not to serve but to become the president of the republic.

This is not yet over. Senators having a field day of free tv exposure for the 2010 and directing their own telenovela for their own selfish political agenda is helping this nation to crumble. Senatongs, you are doing disservice to this country. Go on make laws that will benefit the people not for your own political agenda.
